Candyce showed you all a couple of the books she wants to reread this year a little while ago, and I thought it would be fun to share my list as well. We both have rereading as a goal this year, but I’ve only managed to reread 3 books so far. In the last couple of months I haven’t reread a single book but hopefully that will change soon! Let’s take a look at some of the books I want to reread this year. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Books I Want To Reread This Year”

Bookish Item | Recommendations Based on Riverdale
O M G, that Riverdale season finale!! I absolutely loved that episode and can’t believe we have to wait until October. So to make the wait a little bit easier I wanted to give some book recommendations based on Riverdale. I was inspired by this video by Super Space Chick and plan on doing this for other tv shows as well!
There are the obvious recommendations of allll the Riverdale comics (here are a couple of mini reviews for some that I’ve read). And there’s also the prequel book, Riverdale: The Day Before for which I participated in the blog tour. But today I want to recommend books based on some of our favorite characters! So let’s get into it. Beware, there will be some minor spoilers for Riverdale. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Recommendations Based on Riverdale”
Bookish Item| YA Sports Promo
As a big fan of YA and especially sports romances/contemporary books, I had to participate in this YA Sports Promo. A few authors got together and have all made the first book of their series free from May 14th through the 17th. Today I will show you the five books available. You can see them all in the banner. So let’s take a look!
Bookish Item| It’s Monday, What am I Reading?
After looking around to find a new meme for Monday, I stumbled upon: Monday, What am I reading? This is kind of like Whatcha Reading Wednesday, but it fits better today. This meme is hosted by Book Date!
So let’s take a look at what I recently read and what I am reading now and what I am going to pick up during this week.

Bookish Item| Book Beginnings on Friday – Happy Messy Scary Love
Book Beginnings on Friday isn’t a prompt that I’ve done in awhile, so I decided to give it another go.This meme was created by Rose City Reader.
The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often I will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time.

Bookish Item | Middle Grade May TBR
Candyce and I were planning on doing another Middle Grade May this month. And as it turned out the TBR and Beyond Facebook group we’re both part off is doing Middle Grade May as group reading challenge this month. So this is working out perfectly! I’m super excited to pick up some of the wonderful middle grade reads I have on my TBR and can’t wait to fall in love with those stories and characters. After a quick look at my shelves I had quite some books to pick from. So today I wanted to show which ones I’m most likely to read this month. Without further ado; my Middle Grade May TBR! Bookish Item | April Merch Haul
I love bookish merch and all kinds of goodies! But I have been buying way too much over the last couple of years so I tried to slow down a little. However, last month I have been yet again buying a couple of things haha. It’s not a lot but there are some really nice and cute things I have accumulated that I love to share with you all! So let’s get into my April merch haul. Continue reading “Bookish Item | April Merch Haul”
Bookish Item | Read-a-thons
Today I want to talk about read-a-thons! There are a lot of fun ones being hosted this month and I keep on trying the participate. I just read about the Avengersreadathon19, which looks super cool. And of course there’s the O.W.L.’s read-a-thon I adore. While I would too participate in all the fun read-a-thons I come across, I simply don’t. Why not? Let’s talk about it! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Read-a-thons”
Bookish Item | Adult Fantasy TBR
I mentioned this in our March bookhaul and wanted to talk about it a little more. This year I would like to read some more adult fantasy. So today I want to share a portion of my Adult Fantasy TBR with you all. Recently I have acquired quite the collection so I hope you all can help me decide which books to focus on first. Let’s take a look at those books! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Adult Fantasy TBR”
Bookish Item| Netgalley Backlist
Netgalley is an amazing platform for bloggers. They give you a chance to get ARCs from upcoming books. So far I’ve read a lot of amazing books early. Today I want to look at my Netgalley backlist. They recommend a feedback rate of 80%. I’m a little over 60%, but there are some books I’ve had since I started my account over a year ago!
