With only a little less than a week left of August, I thought it’d be a good time to talk about my September TBR. I only work the first week of the month and then have 3 weeks off. We do have some plans, but I’ll definitely have some extra reading time! So let’s see what some of the books will be that I plan on reading next month.
So in April I did a post where my TBR cards chose my next 4 reads. I just looked at that post and I’ve only read one of them so far, haha. I thought it would be fun to do this again, but choose some of my eARCs this time. I’m trying to increase my Netgalley ratio, so this is a fun way to get some of them read. I’m definitely becoming a broken record, but 2024 is flying by! I can’t believe I’m already thinking about my August TBR. It’s actually only halfway through July when I’m typing this, but it’s still a weird idea. That being said, I don’t always stick to my TBRs, but I still love making them. So let’s see what books I’m hoping to read next month.

So I know the summer just started, but if you’ve been following the blog, you’ll know I’m a big fan of Christmas. So I always love to do a little Christmas in July reading. The last couple of years, I’ve only watched some Hallmark movies, but this year I want to read some holiday books as well. Let’s take a look!
A trend I see a lot on TikTok and even bookstagram is that people show and tell us what they read in a week. Even though it won’t be as visual as a reel or video on TikTok, I thought it would be fun to track my reading for a week (I do anyways, because I track how many pages I read a day).

It’s the last day of May, so I want to tell you about my June reading plans. As you know, I never completely stick to my TBRs, but they’re still fun to make. Let’s take a look at my June TBR!
I’m sure most people that visit the blog know what Netgalley is, but it’s a platform to request e-galleys on to read before a book is published. This is definitely a rabbit hole that’s easy to fall down, but there are just so many amazing sounding books releasing this year.
I’ve been actively working on increasing my feedback ratio, but I couldn’t resist a little requesting spree. Here are five books I recently requested. I have no clue if I’ll be approved, but I’ll be reading them either way.
