It’s hard to believe it’s almost October! I’ve said this before, but 2020 is taking forever and flying by at the same time. The past few months I’ve talked about my monthly TBR and want to do that again today. So if you’re curious about my October TBR, keep on reading!
Yesterday we celebrated 3 years of blogging with a giveaway (there’s still time to check that out). Today we want to talk about our hopes and wishes for the next 3 years. We’re still loving what we’re doing, but we definitely have goals and wishes, so keep on reading to find out more!
If you’ve been reading our posts this week, you’ll see that we’ve been mentioning our third blog birthday. Today is the day that we hit publish on our first post and we wanted to celebrate 3 years of blogging with a giveaway! Keep on reading if you want to find out more!
This year I’ve been keeping track of my reading in a spreadsheet my boyfriend made for me. When I was looking at it last week, I noticed that I’ve started quite a few books, but haven’t finished them yet. I want to try and finish as much of these as possible before the end of the year. So a few will be added to my TBR each month to try and meet this goal. So keep on reading to see the books I’ve started, but really need to finish.
At the beginning of the year both Isabelle and I did a Top Ten Tuesday about our 2020 anticipated releases. This year is flying by, so we were curious if we had read any of the books we put in this list. So I’m going to talk about my ten books today and Isabelle will talk about hers next week. Keep on reading to see if I’ve read any of the books I was looking forward to this year!
It honestly feels like I just sat down to write my post about my August TBR. So it’s really weird to be planning my September TBR. 2020 is going by really fast, but slow at the same time. Even though my August TBR didn’t exactly go as planned, I’m excited about the books I want to read next month. I will be reading a lot of ARCs and have quite a few blog tours, but they all look amazing. Keep reading to find out what books I plan to read in September!
It’s time for another Book Beginnings on Friday! This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I haven’t done this in ages. I just got my ARC of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue yesterday, so I couldn’t resist writing this post!
Last month I had a lot of fun posting my July TBR. We don’t normally post one on the blog, but I think I’m going to make it a monthly item. I can already tell you I probably won’t read all of these and I know some of my plans will change, but this is what I hope to read. Keep on reading to see my full August TBR!
I love participating in readathons, but I don’t always finish them, haha. I’ve been looking for one to participate in this summer and that’s when I stumbled upon the Trope-ical Readathon on Jenny’s blog Jen Jen Reviews. All of the information can be found there and takes place during August. You can still register until August 8th, so I definitely suggest taking a look! Today I’m going to talk about my TBR!
Like I’ve said a few times recently, 2020 is over halfway over! It went slow for a bit, but it’s also flying by at the same time. After talking about my reading goals update and doing the Mid Year Freak Out Tag, I thought it would be fun to look at some of my favorite books so far. As I’m typing this, I’ve read 154 books. I’m not even going to try and put these in a specific order, but just talk about ten of my favorite books of 2020 so far!
