My Goodreads want to read shelf is increasing again, so I’m sticking to doing this post every other week, haha.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

It’s been a while since I read both of these books but I still really wanted to share my thoughts and maybe bring them to your attention haha. This web series is also published as two graphic novels. I’ll talk about both volumes today, so let’s jump in! Continue reading “Review | Check, Please! Vol. 1 & 2 – Ngozi Ukazu”
Of course I decided to create reading goals for 2021 (click here to see that post), so I thought with March now being over (the first quarter of the year) it’s a good time to see how I’m doing so far. Am I on track? What do I still need to work on? Keep on reading to find out!

Just 15 days and Shadow and Bone is life!! I am so incredibly excited for this Netflix show and I can’t wait to see it all come to life. This is a tag I found on Youtube, it’s a bit different from the usual tags we do as it’s all about the Grishaverse and not just book questions in general. Let’s jump in!

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breakingthe Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Malibu Rising – Taylor Jenkins Reid”
I’ve said this when starting almost all of my reviews for LJ Evans, but this author wrote another book I completely loved and is still one of my favorite authors! So far all of the books in this world have been so much fun, if you click on the titles you can see my reviews for: Guarded Dreams, Forged by Sacrifice, Avenged by Love, Damaged Desires and Branded by a Song.
Yesterday was the release of the next book, Unmasked Dreams, and once again this author outdid herself. If you want to know more about this book and my thoughts, keep on reading! A big thanks to the author for providing me with an e-arc to read and review!

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books I’d gladly throw in the ocean. I have wanted to do that quite a few times with books, but today I’m going to use the reason that they broke my heart, haha. So let’s talk about ten books that broke my heart and made me want to throw them in the ocean (even though I loved most of these, haha).

We’ve talked about our bookhaul from March this year, so that means it’s time to go back a year. March is our birthday month, so that can always be tricky. It’s time for looking back at our bookhauls from March 2020. Have we read any of the books we got? Keep on reading to find out!

A little over two weeks ago we finally got the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I was highly anticipating this show as I’m a big Bucky fan. When I’m writing this I’ve seen the first three episodes and I can’t wait for the next. So while I do call this a first look, keep in mind we’re half way through the season haha. Let’s take a look.
