The last few months I’ve slowly started reading and enjoying thrillers more. It’s a new to me genre still, so when I saw a book club on Bookstagram I had to join. This month’s book is Rock Paper Scissors and I decided to listen to the audiobook before my vacation started. Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
With my upcoming trip (I’m going to Paris next week) I thought it would be fun to take a look at some books that are set in Paris. This list is a mix of books I already read and books on my TBR. It was fun looking at some of the books I already read and to remember which ones I still need to pick up. So let’s jump in and talk Paris books! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Books Set in Paris”
It’s been quite some time since I’ve actually done a tag. I’ve been having a harder time finding tags that interest me, so other posts have been getting written instead. That being said it’s been raining a lot here lately, so I was curious if there was a rainy day book tag and there was! I found this tag on mijablur who found it somewhere else, so I’m not sure who it’s originally from. Let’s see what this tag is all about.
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Favorite Book Settings. I felt like we already did a similar topic and after looking it up it turns out we did this exact topic before. Instead of giving you another list I want to take a look at my previous list and see if I still agree! Let’s jump in. Continue reading “TTT #206 | Favorite Book Settings”
Lately I’ve really been in the mood to read contemporary books and one I recently read is Always Never Yours. I received this book last Christmas, so it was definitely time to sit down and read it. So today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #93”
It’s been two weeks, so once again time for a new Down the TBR Hole. I’ve only added a few books to my want to read shelf since last time, so it’s time to get through the next ten books. Let’s see how many I get off the want to read shelf.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Amber Lynn Natusch is an author I’ve just started to become familiar with. I read and loved the first two books in her Hometown Antihero series (Dare You to Lie & Don’t Say a Word). So I figured it was time to start more books by her. Amber’s newest release, A Curse of Nightshade, is now out in the world and today I want to tell you all about it!
A big thanks to the author for providing an e-arc for me to read and review!
It’s time for another Netgalley Backlist post and it’s already time for the 8th post! If you want to read my last Netgalley Backlist, click here for part 7. I still have way too many Netgalley e-arcs to read and I’m hoping these posts get me even more motivated to start reading these. Let’s take a look at the next 8 books!
