As you know I’m a big romance fan. I’ve also now found BookTok and I’ve been watching more Booktube videos lately. This has all made my list of romance books I want to read increase a lot, haha. One that I saw everywhere was The Fine Print and it lived up to my expectations. Today I want to talk about this book and what I thought!
Lately I’ve been looking for something new to do on Wednesday. We have a few different posts, but I needed a new idea as well. I’ve been seeing WWW Wednesday posts for quite some time and decided I was going to do one every once in a while as well. We talk a little bit about what we’re reading or have read when we have a Royal Update, but don’t give any thoughts.
So it’s time for the first WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Today is my stop on the book tour for Game On: 15 Stories of Wins, Losses, and Everything in Between. This tour is being hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours and I’m excited to share my interview with Laura Silverman today. So besides my interview I’ll also talk about this book! Keep on reading to find out more!
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books I Meant to Read in 2021 But Didn’t Get To. Candyce already did a part 1 to this last week and today is my turn. Since I didn’t read nearly as many books as I would’ve liked you can bet there are a ton of books I meant to read in 2021 but didn’t get to. So let’s see which 10 I picked. I’m sure many readers know the battle of the never ending TBR, haha. These days my TBR isn’t only physical, but also digital. I’m more worried about keeping track of my physical TBR, because I already do Down the TBR Hole and my Netgalley Backlist posts.
To help me keep track of my physical TBR I use 5 on my TBR. This is a meme hosted by Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Each week there’s a different topic to talk about the books on your TBR that fit that theme. This week’s topic is Celebrity/Famous. I recently finished If This Gets Out and am looking forward to reading more of the books I own with celebrities.
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #107”
Books are something that take up a lot of my time, but on top of that I’m also a big fan of TV shows and watch way too many, haha. Isabelle is the same and told you about her 2021 favorite TV shows last week and today it’s my turn. 2021 was filled with a lot of amazing new TV shows, but also some older ones that I got caught up on. Keep on reading to hear about the shows I was loving last year!
It’s been a while since we’ve done a buddyread and decided it was time again. So our first buddy review is going to be for If This Gets Out. We were both really curious about this one and it definitely was quite different than we were expecting, but not in a bad way. Keep on reading to find out more about the book and what we thought.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve done this, but I thought it would be fun to talk about a few books I want to read in 2022 that I think will be five star reads. These will be a mix of new and older releases. Hopefully I’ll remember to come back to this post later this year to see if I was right about my five star predictions. Let’s take a look at a few books I’m hoping/expecting will be amazing!
Naomi Novik wrote one of my favorite books; Uprooted. So of course I was interested in her dark academia series The Scholomance. Last year I got an eARC for A Deadly Education and I LOVED that book. It was one of my favorite books I read in 2021. And after that last line I needed the second book badly!! I also got an eARC for that one but because I was so busy it took me a while to pick it up. Once I actually did though, I finished it in about 2 days. And today I want to tell you all about it! Continue reading “Review | The Last Graduate – Naomi Novik”
