After looking around to find a new meme for Monday, I stumbled upon: Monday, What am I reading? This is kind of like Whatcha Reading Wednesday, but it fits better today. This meme is hosted by Book Date!
So let’s take a look at what I recently read and what I am reading now and what I am going to pick up during this week.

At the end of March I posted about my Netgalley Backlist. I showed you five books I hadn’t gotten around to reading yet (I still haven’t read them either. Oops!). I’m still at a feedback rate of a little over 60%, but have read some amazing titles since the last time I posted.
Today I want to make a Netgalley Backlist Part 2. Out of the 107 books I’ve been approved for, there are 40 books I still need to read and review. Let’s take a look at a few of the older ones on this list!
Last week Candyce gave you an update on her reading goals and I thought it would be fun to do the same. At the start of the year we both set some goals for 2019. For some of these goals I’m doing great, others not so much haha. Let’s take a look at my reading goals update! Continue reading “Bookish Item | 2019 Reading Goals Update Part 2”
Now that’s it’s July, I thought it would be a good time to check in on how my reading is going this year! At the end of last year, we wrote a post about our reading goals. Now it’s time for my 2019 Reading Goals Update. How am I doing so far? Let’s take a look!
This is kind of a last minute decision, but after hearing about The Book Junkie Trials, we decided to participate. We have to declare our TBR by July 1st, so that’s pretty last minute, but oh well? Haha. Let’s take a look at what these trials are and our TBRs.
I love reading and reviewing books so naturally I use Netgalley. It’s a wonderful way to get eARCs and for international bloggers sometimes one of the only manners of getting review copies. But even though I enjoy it and love using it, I’m so bad at it haha. I currently have 29 titles waiting for me to read them. My feedback ratio isn’t that great and I really hope to change that in the upcoming months. Maybe this post will help me a bit haha. Since there are quite some books, I will focus today’s post on the one in the ‘older than 3 months’ section. Let’s get into it! Continue reading “Bookish Item | My Netgalley Backlist”
A little while ago Candyce was looking for a Monday post and came across It’s Monday, Was am I Reading? This meme is hosted by Book Date, and I thought it would be fun to do today. We will be looking at what I read recently, what I’m currently reading and what I will be reading for the rest of the week! Let’s get into it. While blogging today, I’ve been trying to think of something to write about for my bookish item. Nothing was really inspriing me, so I decided to google book blog memes. That’s where I stumbled upon F Is For Friday hosted by Nomadic Worlds. Let’s see what it’s about!
Book Beginnings on Friday isn’t a prompt I’ve done before, but Candyce did it a couple of times and it looked really interesting. This meme was created by Rose City Reader.
The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often I will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time.
As you may have seen on our Insta-stories I started a buddy-read with my friend Melissa this Wednesday. We’re reading Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft, a book you might recognize from my adult fantasy TBR! Let’s take a look!
