After looking around to find a new meme for Monday, I stumbled upon: Monday, What am I reading? This is kind of like Whatcha Reading Wednesday, but it fits better today. This meme is hosted by Book Date!
So let’s take a look at what I recently read and what I am reading now and what I am going to pick up during this week.
As I’m typing this post, I’m just about finished with Infinite. This is such an emotional story. It had me in tears quite a few times. This author knows how to hit all the feels! This is the second book in this duo. My review to the first book, Indefinite can be found here. Keep your eye out on the blog later today for my review of Infinite.
At the moment, I’m also over halfway through Nevernight. I’ve had this book and its sequel on my shelf since they came out. I’m upset it took me so long to pick it up, but happy that I can give this trilogy a go one after the other.
On top of that, I’m also 80 pages into These Witches Don’t Burn. I was going to wait until Halloween, but this book has been staring at me when I walk by my shelves, haha. So far I’m really enjoying this story and I’m excited to see where it goes.
This week, I’ll also start a few other books. I have a few ARCs I need to read and a book for a group read. I’m working almost double what I normally do, so I hope I can get everything done I want to!
To start the week, I’ll be reading my ARC of The King. I loved the Wicked trilogy and The Prince was amazing. I’ve been waiting almost a year to get my hands on this novella. I already know now that this novella will never be long enough.
In it to Win it is the next ARC to read this week. I read Play to Win earlier this year and loved the story. I’ve been very excited since the author announced when this book would be released. The family in this book is very complicated and I love stories that have a bit of drama. My review of Play to Win can be found here.
Last but not least, I’ll be reading When Summer Ends. I’ve had this one for awhile, but there will be a group discussion in the TBR and Beyond group at the end of the week, so it’s time for me to read this one. We’re expecting some high temperatures, so it’s the perfect time to pick up a book like this.
If it’s up to me, there are a few more I would like to get done, haha. I always have a neverending list. What are you reading this week? If you’ve read any of the books I’ve talked about today, let me know what you thought in the comments!
