Lately Candyce has been showing her Netgalley Backlist in an effort to put those books back on her radar. While we both are quite lucky with getting amazing eARC’s our ratio’s aren’t that great… At the moment mine is 37% and I really want to get it towards 45% by the end of the year. Over two years ago I wrote a blogpost about a part of my backlist and I want to continue that. I’ll warn you now, there will be some older releases in here ;). Let’s take a look! Before 2021 started both Candyce and I set ourselves some reading goals. 2020 was not a great reading year for me so I didn’t do great on those goals. But I did set some goals for 2021 again. And since we’re half way through the year I thought it would be great to take a look and see how I’m doing so far. To be honest, I’m not completely sure which goals I set for myself so this is also a good reminder. But I do have an inkling and you could say I’m worried haha. Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Reading Goals 2021 Mid Year Update”
Since we started this blog we’ve posted our reading goals for the year (see our 2020 reading goals we’ll be evaluating in January here). Reading should always be fun, but we love challenging ourselves. So keep on reading if you want to know more about our 2021 reading goals!
Merry Christmas! Just a couple of days left in 2020! What a year it has been. And while some people have been reading more than ever, I can’t really say the same haha. I’m still 5 books away from reaching my Goodreads reading goal so I want to try and read or even finish these books before the end of the year. Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Bookish Item | End of the Year TBR”
With the new year almost here it’s time for our 2020 Reading Goals! We set some reading goals last year as well, and you can expect a wrap-up on those early January. For quite some years now we’ve been setting Goodreads goals but the last couple of years we’ve also tried to set some additional reading goals. So let’s take a look at the goals we set ourselves for 2020. Continue reading “Bookish Item | 2020 Reading Goals”
Last year I did a post about 19 books I wanted to read before 2019, and earlier this week I gave an update about how many I ended up reading. With about 20 weeks to go until the end of the year, I thought it would be fitting to do a 20 before 2020. This list is a mix of books that I preordered, new releases I expect to buy or will hopefully pop up on Storytel, ones that are already on Storytel and ones already on my shelves! Continue reading “Bookish Item | 20 Books I Want to Read Before 2020”
Last year I did a post about 19 books I wanted to read before 2019. Since we’re about 20 weeks out from 2020, I thought it would be fun to do a 20 before 2020. However, it seems fitting to first take a look at the books I wanted to read before 2019. Did I end up reading them all? Do you want to place any bets? Let’s take a look at that list! Continue reading “Bookish Item | 19 before 2019, Did I Read Them?”
Last week Candyce gave you an update on her reading goals and I thought it would be fun to do the same. At the start of the year we both set some goals for 2019. For some of these goals I’m doing great, others not so much haha. Let’s take a look at my reading goals update! Continue reading “Bookish Item | 2019 Reading Goals Update Part 2”
Now that’s it’s July, I thought it would be a good time to check in on how my reading is going this year! At the end of last year, we wrote a post about our reading goals. Now it’s time for my 2019 Reading Goals Update. How am I doing so far? Let’s take a look!
Last year I made post about the 19 books I wanted to finish before 2019. We were 19 weeks away from 2019 so reading 19 books was definitely a possibility, and I for sure read more than 19 books from that point onwards. But the big question is, did I read those books I set out to read in those last weeks of the year? Let’s look back on those books and I will tell you if I read them!
