This year middle grade has had a lot of amazing books and I have a feeling there are quite a few to come. The Wild Path is one of these books. It sounded so amazing that both of us knew we needed to read it. So we knew we had to sign up for the book tour. Today is our stop on the tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. We’re going to share our review and some favorite quotes.
If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, then you know I’m a big fan of contemporary books. The How and the Why is one that caught my attention when it released and I finally got around to reading it. Last month I saw that the audiobook was on Storytel and I knew I needed to finally read this one. Keep on reading to find out what I thought of this book!
I love 10 Things I Hate About You so of course I’m going to be intrigued by a book called 10 Things I Hate About Pinky. At the start of the year I read Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon but was pretty disappointed by it. Everyone seems to love the When Dimple met Rishi books so I decided to give Pinky a go! And I was not disappointed at all. Let’s dive into my review. Continue reading “Review | 10 Things I Hate About Pinky – Sandhya Menon”
I’m doing my best to get caught up with my ARCs on Netgalley, because there are just so many I want to read. Last week I finally picked up Sick Kids in Love and am glad I got around to this book. Keep on reading for my full review.
A big thanks to Entangled Teen for providing me with an e-arc on Netgalley!
As soon as I saw the title of this book, I knew I needed to read it! Today is my spot on the book tour for The Year Shakespeare Ruined My life hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. This book was a fast and fun read and I’m excited to talk about it. So keep on reading to read all of my thoughts!
A big thanks to the publisher for providing me with an e-arc to read and review.
I recently read and reviewed The Quiet You Carry and it was such an emotional and hard hitting book. The next book, Quiet No More, releases in October and I’ve already started reading this one. I’m still working on it, so my review will be posted soon. So today on my spot of the book tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours I want to tell you what this book is about and give you information about the giveaway!
Once again, there are some trigger warnings that you need to be aware of: domestic abuse and sexual abuse.
The Quiet You Carry released last year, but I have to say I missed this release. The next book Quiet No More is releasing soon and I’m on the blog tour. To prepare for that I needed to read The Quiet You Carry first. I have to say this definitely wasn’t an easy book to read and brings its own set of trigger warnings that I will address at the beginning of my review.
A big thanks to the publisher for providing me with an e-copy of this book on Netgalley to read and review!
We both had Slay by Brittney Morris on our TBR and decided it was time to pick it up! The story has a gamer aspect we’re both interested in and the racism aspect makes this a very important read. But was it also an enjoyable read? Let’s take a look at our thoughts! Continue reading “Buddy Review | Slay – Brittney Morris”
Not too long ago, I read a book in verse for the first time. This was such an interesting reading experience. Not too long after I read about I Am Here Now and it got my attention. This coming of age book takes place in the 1960s and sounds really interesting. Today I want to tell you about the book and you can read an excerpt. There’s also a giveaway for US readers. Keep an eye on the blog soon for my review as well!
I Kissed Alice is a book I’ve seen around the bookish community a lot lately as we got closer to the release. The book has finally been out there since yesterday and I’m so excited to read it. Today I’m giving it a little spotlight on the blog. Keep an eye on the blog this month for my review. If you want to know more about I Kissed Alice and read a little excerpt, keep on reading!
