Normally on Thursday we post tags on the blog, but I’m a bit behind writing reviews. So I decided to post a review today instead. And it worked out in the end, because there wasn’t really a tag speaking to me today.
Hot British Boyfriend was one of my most anticipated releases for 2021 and I got to read an e-arc! Today I want to talk about this book and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more.

If you’ve been following the blog, you know I’m a big fan of LJ Evans’ books. She makes me really connect with her characters and I definitely keep thinking about her books when done reading. Branded by a Song is her newest release. I’ve really had to think about how to put my thoughts into words, because I loved this book so much. Keep on reading to find out more!
A big thanks to the author for providing me with an e-arc to read and review!

Both of us are trying to make a dent in the amount of unread backlist books on our shelves. A fun way to do this is planning a lot of buddy reads and that’s what we decided to do with Letters to the Lost. This is a book both of us have had for quite some time and we heard it was pretty emotional. We finally read this book and want to talk about our thoughts. Keep on reading to find out more!

S.M. Shade is a go to author for me when it comes to romantic comedies. I know she’ll give me amazing characters, lots of laugh out loud moments and some steamy scenes. Overachiever is the second book in her Slumming It series and it didn’t disappoint! Keep on reading to find out more!

If you’ve been following the blog you’ll know I’m a big fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout. There are only a few of her books I haven’t read yet and plan to do so eventually. The Darkest Star is a book I was lucky to get as eARC, but if I’m honest I loved my re-read the second time around even more.
After that re-read, I finally had the chance to read the second book in the Origin series, The Burning Shadow. So I finally want to tell you what I thought of this book. I’ll do my best to keep out spoilers, so it may be a shorter or a bit of a vague review! Keep on reading to find out more!

At the beginning of the year, Isabelle and I chose 3 books we wanted the other to read. I finally finished the first one (and am over halfway with the second one), haha. One of the books Isabelle chose for me was The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I ended up doing a buddy read with Ellie from Read to Ramble and it was such an interesting ride.
