Sophie Lark is an author I’ve heard so many great things about and I was determined to give one of her books a try this year. I’m cutting it close to the end of 2022, but I finally read a book by her. Brutal Prince was a pleasant surprise! I read it in just about one sitting. So keep on reading to find out more about this book and my thoughts.
We have a lot of eARC’s and we want to promote them a little bit more. So we decided to do some more Bookish Beginnings On Friday. A Taste of Gold and Iron has been a book I see a lot on bookstagram lately and I was lucky to get an e-arc. It’s a bigger book and I’m hoping to read it during my vacation later this month, so I wanted to talk about this book.
This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that.
As a reader I’m always looking for heartwarming reads that leave me with a smile on my face and the urge to hug the book. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is a book I was hoping to love and I did. Today I want to talk about this book and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more!
As you know I tend to enjoy contemporary romances. So My Mechanical Romance caught my eye. I also loved the fact that this book had a female character interested in STEM! I finally had time to sit down and read this one and wanted to tell you about it today. Keep on reading to find out more.
A big thanks to Netgalley and Holiday House for providing me with an e-arc to read and review.
Red, White and Royal Blue is one of my favorite books, so I’m always excited to see what Casey McQuiston gives us next. I Kissed Shara Wheeler released in May and it’s time to share my thoughts about this book. Isabelle already read and reviewed this one, but now it’s my turn. Keep on reading to read more about this book and my thoughts!
I’m definitely a reader always open to trying new to me authors (even if it isn’t good for my TBR). I recently saw a sign up for the latest book in the Astrid Scott series and these books sounded amazing. You could also choose to review the whole series, so that’s what I did. I read the first book Pretty Lies and want to tell you more about this book and what I thought!
A big thanks to the author and Peachy Keen Author Services for my e-arc to read and review.
If you’ve been following the blog, you’ll know I’m a contemporary fan. I’ve been reading more adult romances lately, but I will be getting back to some young adult ones soon. Including Home Field Advantage by Dahlia Adler. Today is my stop on the tour for this book hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. I actually have an interview with the author. So keep on reading to find out more about this book and see what the author had to say!
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
My boyfriend is a major Marvel fan and comic fan and I have to say some of that has rubbed off on my since we’ve been together, haha. So when I saw The Comic Con I knew I had to read this one. The Comic Con releases today and it’s time for me to tell you about this book and what I thought!
A big thanks to the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an e-arc to read and review.
I love romances and cooking shows, so when I read the synopsis of Love From Scratch I was intrigued! Today I’ll be talking about this book and have an author interview to share on my tour stop for this book being hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. Keep on reading to find out more!
