The last few months I’ve slowly started reading and enjoying thrillers more. It’s a new to me genre still, so when I saw a book club on Bookstagram I had to join. This month’s book is Rock Paper Scissors and I decided to listen to the audiobook before my vacation started. Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
Lately I’ve really been in the mood to read contemporary books and one I recently read is Always Never Yours. I received this book last Christmas, so it was definitely time to sit down and read it. So today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
Amber Lynn Natusch is an author I’ve just started to become familiar with. I read and loved the first two books in her Hometown Antihero series (Dare You to Lie & Don’t Say a Word). So I figured it was time to start more books by her. Amber’s newest release, A Curse of Nightshade, is now out in the world and today I want to tell you all about it!
A big thanks to the author for providing an e-arc for me to read and review!

Beach Read has been on my radar since it released last year, but I just hadn’t gotten around to reading it. This month I finally did while hosting the Swoonalong read in the TBR and Beyond Facebook group. I’m so glad I finally picked this one up! Okay, I know it’s still September, but I’m already in the mood for some holiday cheer. I’m a big fan of anything Christmas and Christmas themed books are the best! So I got to do a buddy read with The Artsy Reader (who loves Christmas just as much as me) and we chose to pick up The Twelve Dates of Christmas. So keep on reading to find out more about the book and what I thought!
Books where you find love in the unexpected ways are always interesting to read. So when I heard about The Meeting Point I had to sign up for the tour hosted by The Write Reads. J. Daniels is an author I will read anything by and my love of her books started with the Alabama Summer series. I actually read these books in May 2017, so just a few months before starting this blog. This week I decided to do a re-read of the first book in this series, Where I Belong. I had the audiobook and loved every minute of this book again, so I decided it was time to share that love for this series. Keep on reading to find out more about the book and what I thought of this book!
We finally did a buddyread of The Extraordinaries by T.J. Klune! It’s been over a year since we got our eARC’s for this one and while we were very excited about it, we just didn’t pick it up. But after loving The House In The Cerulean Sea we realized we really had to get going on The Extraordinaries. It still took us a while, but we finally read it haha, and now we want to share our thoughts. So let’s jump in! Continue reading “Buddy Review | The Extraordinaries – TJ Klune”
As a reader I love books about characters that either love books or any other kind of fandom. So when I saw Down with This Ship had a character who wrote fanfiction about her favorite TV show I knew I needed to give it a go. I finally had the chance to finish this book, so I want to share my thoughts today! Keep on reading to find out more.
A big thanks to the publisher for providing me with an e-arc on Netgalley to read and review!
