At the end of March I posted about my Netgalley Backlist. I showed you five books I hadn’t gotten around to reading yet (I still haven’t read them either. Oops!). I’m still at a feedback rate of a little over 60%, but have read some amazing titles since the last time I posted.
Today I want to make a Netgalley Backlist Part 2. Out of the 107 books I’ve been approved for, there are 40 books I still need to read and review. Let’s take a look at a few of the older ones on this list!
Snowsisters – Tom Wilinsky This sounds like a really fun book. I’m all in for students spending time together writing. Add some possibilites for new friendships and it sounds like an entertaining book. Goodreads has a lot of mixed reviews though, so I don’t know where I’ll end in that debate.
If I Was Your Girl – Meredith Russo I had heard about this book before, but when it became a Read Now title on Netgalley I decided to download it. I think everybody deserves to be seen as who they really are. My friends on Goodreads that have read this book all rated it really high!
See All the Stars – Kit Frick The cover was the first thing that caught my eye when I noticed this book. I think this was another Read Now title. I am starting to enjoy YA thrillers more and more, so this one sounded amazing when it said We Were Liars (which I loved) meets Goodbye Days. Isabelle didn’t enjoy this one, so I’m curious if my opinion will be any different.
Ruthless Magic – Megan Crewe I can’t remember if this one was a Read Now title or if this is one a publisher approached me about. There was a book I read and reviewed and after that I did get asked if I wanted to read. Ruthless Magic is a magic competition and that sounds like something I will love. The description says it has elements of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. I need that in my life.
The Universe is Expanding and So Am I – Carolyn Mackler This title made me giggle when I first saw it. Except I didn’t realize when I requested it that it was a sequel. So before I can give this one a go, I have to read The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things. I love the summer feel of this cover though!
So that’s another 5 unread books on my Netgalley backlist. Have you read any of these yet? Which one should I start with? If you’re on Netgalley, do you have backlist? Let me know in the comments!
