Candyce showed you all a couple of the books she wants to reread this year a little while ago, and I thought it would be fun to share my list as well. We both have rereading as a goal this year, but I’ve only managed to reread 3 books so far. In the last couple of months I haven’t reread a single book but hopefully that will change soon! Let’s take a look at some of the books I want to reread this year.
His Fair Assassin series – Robin LaFevers
It’s been over 4 years since I read Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph but I have yet to read Mortal Heart. I really enjoyed the first two books but since then I’ve forgotten most of the plot. This year Robin LaFevers published the first book in a new duology set in this world. Obviously I want to read that but I have to read Mortal Heart first. And I think it would be nice to reread Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph before I do so!
Carry On – Rainbow Rowell
Another one I read years ago! And this is one I read in Dutch. With the sequel, Wayward Son, coming out this year I would love to read Carry On in English. And wouldn’t that be the perfect opportunity to get one of those pretty covers so I can get a matching set? So this one might have to wait till closer to the release date but I definitely want to get to it. I highly enjoyed Carry On and I’m very excited for the sequel!
Fence – C.S. Pascat
I adored Fence vol 1 & 2 and I can’t wait for the third volume. Once I get it, I will probably read it in no time and be left with a hole in my heart while waiting for the next volume. So I might remedy that with a reread of all three volumes. It will also be nice to take a little bit more time to read them and look at the panels a little longer. Especially the third volume will probably be read at a high speed haha.
Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo
Candyce and I did a reread of the Grishatrilogy before King of Scars was released (those are the three books I did reread this year) but didn’t get to the Six of Crows duology. Six of Crows is one of my favorite books ever so I’m quite sad I’ve only read it once! So I would very much love to reread it this year and be back with those amazing characters. Hopefully it will be as amazing as I remember it to be.
The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins
It’s been years since I read and reread the Hunger Games. I can’t remember how many times I read these books but it’s definitely more than once. This series is what got me started with YA books and the reason I found book blogs in the first place. I love these books with all my (broken)heart and I can’t wait to rediscover this story.
These are the books I plan on rereading this year! Do you reread books? And which books do you like to reread? Let me know in the comments!
I didn’t know Carry On was going to have a sequel, thanks for the heads up although it’s probably known by everyone at this point hahaha. I do want to reread the Harry Potter series 🙂
Haha, happy to help! and rereading HP is ALWAYS a good idea 😉
I’m wanting to reread Six of Crows, too!

It’s such an amazing story! Hopefully we’ll love it as much the second time around
