Review | Of Curses and Kisses – Sandhya Menon

I hadn’t read any of Sandhya Menon’s books yet and even though they’re quite popular I wasn’t really planning on picking them up. But when her new book was announced I got quite excited! A contemporary Beauty and the Beast retelling set at a boarding school. Some of my favorite things right there. So let’s see if this one lived up to my expectations. Review| Unrequited – Julia Wolf

If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of Julia Wolf’s writing. So far there hasn’t been one book that’s disappointed me or left me wanting more. After reading about the band our main characters from Unrequited come from in Blue is the Color (Times Like These, Watch Me Unravel, Such Great Heights & Under the Bridge), I was really excited about this book. Today I want to tell you all about it! Keep on reading to find out more.

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Show Sunday | Elite season 3

Last week season 3 of Elite was released. I wrote a post about both the first and the second season right after watching those. Of course I planned on watching the third season as soon as it released! And I watched it all in no time at all haha. I’m a bit sad because I finished it so quickly, but I just couldn’t help myself. So let’s talk about it!
Since this is a post about season 3, there will be spoilers about the first two seasons so beware! Continue reading “Show Sunday | Elite season 3”

Review| Meet Me at Midnight – Jessica Pennington

When I first heard about Meet Me at Midnight I knew I needed this book! I don’t think I need to tell you how excitedI was when my request for an ARC was approved on Netgalley! After loving Love Songs & Other Lies, Jessica Pennington became an autobuy/read author.

Meet Me at Midnight releases on April 7th and I decided to post my review a bit early to get the word out there. I’m excited for other people to read this book. A big thanks to the author, Netgalley and Tor Teen for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Bookish Item | Magical Readathon 2020 TBR – Part 2

Last week Candyce shared her TBR for this year’s edition of the Magical Readathon. And today is my turn! G from Book Roast puts so much effort in this readathon and it’s probably my favorite readathon out there.

The idea of this readathon is to sit your O.W.L.’s. And to help you pick which O.W.L.’s (and N.E.W.T.’s in the next readathon) you should ‘study’ for, G created a Wizarding Careers Guide Book. You pick a career (and possibly an extra training) and it tells you which O.W.L.’s and N.E.W.T.’s you need for it. So let’s see which career I picked! Tag | The Strictly Book Tag

Besides reading, blogging, watching a lot of TV shows, I also really love watching dance shows. From So You Think You Can Dance to Dancing with the Stars, they’re all so much fun. I recently saw that Stephen, from Stephen Writes, created The Strictly Book Tag to show love for Strictly Come Dancing. I love books and dancing shows, so I’m giving this book tag a go. Let’s take a look!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Meet Cute Club – Jack Harbon

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

TTT #124 | Spring 2020 TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is your Spring 2020 TBR. I usually don’t make a set TBR, but I do have some books I want to read in the upcoming months. Hopefully this post will remind me to actually do so ;). I picked 5 new releases I want to get to right away and 5 books I already have on my shelves. Let’s take a look at the 10 books I picked for my Spring TBR.
