Besides reading, blogging, watching a lot of TV shows, I also really love watching dance shows. From So You Think You Can Dance to Dancing with the Stars, they’re all so much fun. I recently saw that Stephen, from Stephen Writes, created The Strictly Book Tag to show love for Strictly Come Dancing. I love books and dancing shows, so I’m giving this book tag a go. Let’s take a look!

Waltz – A Book With An Elegant And Graceful Writing Style
I have to think of an author when seeing this prompt. Laura E. Weymouth. Her books The Light Between Worlds and A Treason of Thorns have such an amazing writing style. She has a way with words that will definitely have me wanting to read every book she publishes!
Cha Cha Cha – An Outstanding Trilogy
I’m bad at actually finishing series, haha, so I had to think about this one. Let’s see… I will choose the Redefining me trilogy. I loved The F Word, The N Word and The C Word. These two authors took on some difficult subjects and I loved that things weren’t magically all okay. I was really impressed by this trilogy!
Quickstep – A Book That Has A Very Fast Pace From Beginning To End
Sorcery of Thorns was a recent read and it started off face and didn’t slow down. I really loved this book and how much books and libraries were a part of this world. Even though it had a few things I would’ve liked to have seen more of, this was one fun ride!
Paso Doble – A Book With Striking Cover Art
This past year there have been so many stunning covers! It’s been an amazing time for authors. How can I choose just one cover?!? I’ll have to pick one of my more recent additions to my bookshelves. Chain of Gold is one of my anticipated releases this year and I just love this cover!
Viennese Waltz – A Book With Lots Of Twists and Turns
The Final Empire was such an amazing book and had so many twists and turns I didn’t see the coming at all. I love the magic system and worldbuilding and can’t wait to continue with this trilogy. Isabelle and I are participating in the Cosmerealong, so we’ll be reading them soon.
Tango – A Book With An Intensely Gripping Plot
One of my most recent reads with an intensely gripping plot was The Perdurables by Morgan G. Farris. This was an ARC and the book releases next week! It’s the fourth book in The Chalam Faerytales, but gives us a backstory. This book had me hooked from start to finish. I can’t recommend this series to people enough! It’s so good!!!
Rumba – A Book That You Have A Strong Emotional Connection With
I read a lot of emotional books, but there was one that I really connected with this year. Warrior Blue was released around the time that I lost someone special. Kelsey Kingsley is an author I love because of her way with words, but this one will always be special to me.
Samba – A Book That Made You Smile And Feel Cheerful
There are two bundles of comics that I have really come to love.Looking through them really makes me happy and cheerful. Catana comics started off as a webcomic (which it still is), but has become really popular. They’re so relatable and always make me smile!
Charleston – A Book Set In The 1920s
I don’t think I’ve read any books set in the 1920s, but I plan on reading one this year. I’ve heard great things about The Diviners. The last book was just released, so it seems like the perfect time to give them a go!
This was such a fun tag and makes me want to go off and watch dancing shows! Also, I tag anyone who loves dancing or dancing shows. I would love to see your answers if you do this tag. What was the last book that made you smile and feel cheerful? Let me know in the comments!
