TTT #37 | Non-Fiction Books On My TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

The actual theme for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday was books with sensory memories, I had written my post but just was satisfied with it at all. So I decided to delete the whole thing and write a new post this morning. While I was listening to my current audiobook, a non-fiction book(!) I thought it would be fun to talk about the non fiction books on my tbr. One of my reading goals this year was reading 4 non-fiction books and I almost finished my second. So I might actually meet this goal, but what books will I read next? Let’s take a look at the books I would like to read. Continue reading “TTT #37 | Non-Fiction Books On My TBR”

Review| Yours Truly, Cammie – S.J. Sylvis

A couple of months ago I read and reviewed this author’s first book, Three Summers. That one was so good that I was excited to get to read her second one that is available today! Yours Truly, Cammie is an emotional rollercoaster ride, but a good one!

Show Sunday| First Shows I Bingewatched

Today we have something new on The Book Dutchesses. Both of us are a big fan of TV shows, so we wanted something more about that. Twice a month we will be doing Show Sunday. There are so many shows we both watch, so the topics are endless, haha.

I am going to start this new post off with shows I first bingewatched. What shows got me going to be the big fan I am now? Let’s take a look!

Mini Reviews | Comic Edition #6

I realized it had been some time since my last comic reviews and have since read a couple. So today seemed like the perfect time to do another one of these mini reviews. I will be talking about one more fun, slice of life kinda comic and two more gritty, thriller kind of comics. And when I say comic, I also mean graphic novel as I never know what term to use. So I just use both whenever I feel like it haha. Continue reading “Mini Reviews | Comic Edition #6”

Bookish Item| Books to Read Before the End of the Year Part 1

Last year one of my first posts on this blog was books I wanted to read before the end of 2017. I didn’t do too well with that, haha. If you want to check out that post, click here. Looking at my bookshelves yesterday, I saw books to read before the end of the year. It’s 2018, so I will be choosing 18 books. I don’t know how far I will get, but I’m hoping this post will give me more motivation! Today I will talk about the first 9 books! In two weeks, the rest will be posted.

Review| Love Songs & Other Lies – Jessica Pennington

We’re in the middle of the summer and I have been loving contemporary books lately. The Facebook group TBR & Beyond is doing a group read of Love Songs & Other Lies by Jessica Pennington. Of course that meant I needed to read this as well. It’s been on my TBR since I heard about it, so I was excited to see if I would love it like I thought I would.

Tag | My Most Read Authors Part 2

Last week Candyce talked about her most read authors and today it’s my turn! We saw this post over at Melany’s blog and I recently saw a couple of booktubers do the same thing. When you go to your Goodreads (not on the mobile website) and go to ‘My Books’, on the left side below your shelves you can find the option ‘most read authors’. Super easy and really fun to watch. Are you curious as to who are my most read authors? Keep on reading! Continue reading “Tag | My Most Read Authors Part 2”
