A little over two weeks ago we finally got the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I was highly anticipating this show as I’m a big Bucky fan. When I’m writing this I’ve seen the first three episodes and I can’t wait for the next. So while I do call this a first look, keep in mind we’re half way through the season haha. Let’s take a look. As you all know, besides reading a lot of books we both love watching TV shows. Isabelle talks about them more often than I do, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been watching a ton of series (even though Christmas movies took over my life most of December). Today I’m going to talk about my favorite TV shows in 2020 and next week Isabelle will tell you about hers.
I’ve posted about this before, and you might remember that The 100 is one of my absolute favorite shows ever. A year and a half ago I rewatched the first 4 seasons right before the fifth season released. I love this show so much and was pretty sad when it was announced this seventh season would be the last. This week series finale aired, let’s talk about it!
There will be spoilers for the previous seasons! Continue reading “Show Sunday | The 100 – Final Season”
I never expected to write this post to be honest! Hamilton has been getting so much hype for years now but I have to admit I was never that invested or even that interested in it. While I do know of the history behind the story it never felt like ‘my’ history so to say (turns out there are some Dutchies in the story though!). With the BLM movement there also came some critic on the musical. So when it aired on Disney+ I wasn’t planning on watching it. But, one evening I decided to find out for myself what everyone was talking about haha. And today I want to talk about it as well! So let’s jump in. Continue reading “Show Sunday | Hamilton”
As someone who loves everything Christmas, I’ve honestly already started listening to Christmas music and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Last year I discovered quite a few fun things, so I want to share my Christmas favorites on Netflix!
Time for another Show Sunday! I recently started watching a show I wanted to watch for quite a while. And that show is Santa Clarita Diet. I remember seeing the first trailer and being interested right away, but somehow I never started it. Last week I wanted to watch an easy 30 minute show on Netflix and that’s where I saw Santa Clarita Diet. So let’s dive into that show today! Continue reading “Show Sunday | Santa Clarita Diet”
A couple of weeks ago both Candyce and I shared the new fall tv shows we were looking forward to. Some of these shows started up last week and of course I watched the pilots and the second episodes! Today I want to share my first impression for these shows with you all. We’re going to look at Prodigal Son, All Rise, Bluff City Law, and Emergence. Let’s get into it! Continue reading “Show Sunday | First Impression New Fall Shows”
Living in The Netherlands can mean that I have to wait for certain things to release here. For once we were a bit lucky and get to test Disney+ before the official release in November. I love anything Disney, so I was very excited. When I was looking through the things to watch, I was so happy to see some favorites. So I decided to write a post about the movies/shows I’ll be watching again soon!
Besides books, TV shows are another thing I can’t get enough of. I really need an extra day a week just to keep up with my reading and show, haha. We’re slowly heading to the end of the summer which means that networks have announced what shows will be airing in the Fall. So I decided it was time to make a list of my anticipated Fall 2019 shows.
Hopefully I don’t find too many, because a lot of the ones I love are returing this fall. So let’s take a look!
If you’ve follwed the blog for awhile, you know Isabelle and I are addicted to TV shows as well as books. I watch way too many shows, but recently Netflix added all seasons of Glee and I couldn’t resist watching it all over again. After watching the first four episodes again, I just had to talk about it!
