Tag| My Most Read Authors

Today I don’t have an actual book tag, but something I saw on Meltotheany‘s blog not too long ago. She did a post about ‘my most read authors’. This made me curious, so I decided to look on Goodreads and show everyone my top 5!

Favorite Book: LUX series

I’m not surprised Jennifer is my most read author. After reading her LUX series, I needed more!! Hot aliens, a book lover as a main character and a lot of action is the perfect combination for a book series. Since then I have wanted to read everything by this author. Recently with the release of Midnight Seduction she said she has 50 published books now. So I still have quite a few to go, haha. I’m looking forward to October though when the first book of the LUX spinoff will be released!

Favorite Book: The Infernal Devices

Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter world is so big that I have already read 16 books that takes place in the same world, haha. They all take place in a different time, but are connected. I loved being in this world and reading the short stories. My favorite so far are The Infernal Devices. Will, Jem and Tessa are my favorite characters. I have been patiently waiting for the series coming next year about their kids. Many say she is stretching out this world too much. In ways I agree, but I also can’t get enough, haha.

Favorite Book: A Court of Mist and Fury

Sarah is definitely one of my favorite authors these days! Anything she writes, I want to read, haha. She hasn’t written 16 books yet, but I read the novellas for Throne of Glass seperately. Even thoughThrone of Glass is my favorite series, A Court of Mist and Fury is my favorite book. That book was so intense and so much happened. On top of all that, the ending was torture. I had to wait awhile for the last installment, haha. Next month her Catwoman book will be release and in October the last book of Throne of Glass. I am definitely sad that it will be over.

Favorite Book: The Wheel of Time Series

My boyfriend introduced me to The Wheel of Time Series. I was at his house one weekend and finished my book. He suggested the first book of the series, because I didn’t have another book with me at that time. I was sold after reading the first book. These books are huge and so much happens. On top of that there are so many characters! I think it’s amazing that the author created this world the way he did. I don’t have one favorite book, but they are all amazing in their own way. I think down the road I want to read them all again. With all the characters and action, I’m sure I missed things the first time around.

Favorite Book: Slammed

Colleen really knows how to make you feel something when you read her books. There hasn’t been one book writter by ther that hasn’t made me cry. There are a few I haven’t read yet, but I don’t think she has many books I haven’t read. My favorite is in the Slammed trilogy. I read them within in a week last year. They were just so touching and it’s clear she puts a lot of time and energy in her books.

I have to say I’m not surprised by this list! It’s fun to see what authors I have read a lot of books from. What is your most read author?
