Looking Back On Our Bookhauls | November 2017

We decided to add a new post to the blog. As you know, we show you the books we bought or received every month. This got us thinking, how many books have we actually already read from our hauls? So now once a month we will be looking back at our bookhauls from a year ago and tell you what we have read!

If we haven’t read many of them, hopefully this will motivate us a bit more to read more of the books we already own, haha. So this month we will talk about our bookhaul in November 2017.

I had so many reading plans and with just one day to go I think I can say those plans failed miserably haha. Today’s prompt for Top Ten Tuesday is Bookstores or libraries I’ve always wanted to visit. But to be honest, I don’t have a to-do list of bookstores and libraries. Whenever I travel somewhere I’ll look up some cool bookstores in that area but I don’t even do that all the times. So this prompt just didn’t feel like me, and sure I could look up some beautiful bookstores and libraries around the world but it kinda feels like lying to me. I had a quick peak at some previous TTT prompts, and since Candyce and I alternate for top ten tuesday I miss out on fun weeks a lot! Bookish Item | Spook-a-thon

Our friend Kwante from Kwante in Wonderland is hosting a Spook-a-thon readathon challenge next month to celebrate Halloween. Now we don’t really do Halloween in the Netherlands but that doesn’t mean we can’t do a bookish Halloween and possibly watch some themed movies <3 We’re both pretty bad at sticking to a TBR so we decided to do like a loose TBR. Kwante came up with a couple of challenges for the Spook-a-thon and we just want to show some of the books we might possibly read. We would love you all to help us pick our books for this readathon! Down the TBR Hole #14

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story, and I found it over at Howling Libraries. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around.
