The holidays are getting closer and closer (which means it’s time for us to buy less, so we have plenty left to add to our Christmas wishlists). So did we stick to this or did we end up adding way too much to our collections again? Keep reading our October bookhaul to find out!
Tag| Twas The Night Before Christmas Book Tag
A good friend of ours, Kwante, from Kwante in Wonderland created a fun tag based on The Nightmare Before Christmas. I couldn’t resist participating in Twas The Nightmare Before Christmas Book Tag. A big thanks to Kwante for making this tag and all of the images I’m using today!

TTT #103 | Halloween Recommendations
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is a Halloween freebie and I decided to go with some recommendations for these last couple of days right before Halloween. I know I will be reading a nice and spooky or witchy read these next days so let’s which ones I hope you pick up! Continue reading “TTT #103 | Halloween Recommendations”
Blog Tour| Kiss Me Again – Emma Hart
Sometimes you just need books that are light and fun. They leave you smiling once you’re done. I’ve had that happen so far with Kiss Me Not and Kiss Me Tonight. This author has a way with words and I really enjoyed both of these. The third and final book in the trilogy, Kiss Me Again, is now available. Was it just as fun? Keep on reading to find out!
Also, a big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review.
Review| Pumpkinheads – Rainbow Rowell & Faith Erin Hicks
I love graphic novels, but I don’t read nearly as many as I would like to. Pumpkinheads released in August and it seemed like the perfect October read. Earlier this month, I needed something fast and easy and this was the first thing I thought of. I read Pumpkinheads in one sitting, so I’d say that says something about what I thought of this story!

Down the TBR Hole #21
It’s only been two weeks since the last time I wrote a Down the TBR Hole post, but I’ve added more books to my Goodreads TBR, so I decided not to wait too long before doing this again.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #21”
Blog Tour| Redemption – Dr. Rebecca Sharp
I always love reading books by new to me authors. Redemption sounded like one that I would love. Thanks to the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC to read and review. I’m really excited to tell you what I thought about this book!

Review| The Bridesmaid and the Jerk – Kayla Tirrell & Daphne James Huff
If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, you know I’m a big fan of contemporary books! Kayla Tirrell and Daphne James Huff have already worked on a few series together, but The Bridesmaid and the Jerk is their first step away from young adult together. Today I want to tell you a bit about this book and of course share my review.
A big thanks to the authors for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Bookish Item| Netgalley Backlist Part 3
One of my reading goals this year is to get my Netgalley feedback ratio up to 80%. It’s the end of October and I’m still at 62% as I’m typing this, haha. So it’s not going exactly as planned. I’ve talked about my Netgalley Backlist before (Part 1 was written by Isabelle and Part 2 has been posted by me in July) and I thought it was time to make another post. Remind myself about the books I need to get to. Let’s take a look!
