Tag | End of the Year Book Tag

It’s that time of the year again! The End of the Year Book Tag pops up everywhere and this year I want to do it on time haha. While the name might sound like you should do this tag at the actual end of the year, aka somewhere in December, the questions are a lot better to answer if you do it somewhere in October or early November. So here we are! Let’s get started. Continue reading “Tag | End of the Year Book Tag”

Review Blast| Tacker – Sawyer Bennett

Sports romance is something that I really enjoy, especially when it’s with hockey players. I’m not a big hockey fan, but for some reason I enjoy those books the most! The Arizona Vengeance is one of these series and I’ve already read a few of the books (Erik & Dax). The next book in the series, Tacker, is out today and I want to talk about it!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Blog Tour| Grimworld – Avery Moray

I’ve said this before, but I really do want to read more middle grade books. The ones I’ve read before are books I’ve really enjoyed, so I need to make more time for them. So when I saw the sign ups for Grimworld by Avery Moray, I was really excited. Grimworld sounded like the perfect book to read around Halloween! Let’s take a look at what I thought of this book and a little excerpt.

A big thanks to the author and Lola’s Blog Tours for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Looking Back at Our Bookhauls| October 2018

Every month we add books to our collections, but we’ve been curious about how much of them we actually read. In Looking Back at Our Bookhauls, we take a look at our hauls from the year before. What have we read and what do we still need to read? We hope this motivates us more to get to our unread books and maybe buy a little less. Even if this doesn’t always work, haha. Today we’re looking back at our book hauls from October 2018.

Review| Gypsy King – Devney Perry

Devney Perry has written quite a few books, but she’s still a new to me author. I really enjoyed The Birthday List and Letters to Molly. Both of these were very emotional reads, but beautiful! Her newest release, Gypsy King, is a bit more out of my comfort zone, but I was very curious! Let’s talk about what I thought about the first book in the Tin Gypsy series.

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Time for another Show Sunday! I recently started watching a show I wanted to watch for quite a while. And that show is Santa Clarita Diet. I remember seeing the first trailer and being interested right away, but somehow I never started it. Last week I wanted to watch an easy 30 minute show on Netflix and that’s where I saw Santa Clarita Diet. So let’s dive into that show today! Continue reading “Show Sunday | Santa Clarita Diet”
