On Wednesday after a little delay, The End Zone by L.J. Shen was released. This is a novella that was a part of an anthology, but it now being released on its own. Thanks to Social Butterfly PR and the author I had the opportunity to read and review. To see what I thought of the book, keep on reading!
At the start of this week we posted our book hauls (with ALLLLL the books haha). I also told you all that you could expect an America Bookhaul from me. I’m currently on a holiday and obviously I had to buy books. I had most of them shipped to my friends place and I also bought a couple. I’m still here but I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore books as it’s going to be a challenge to get them all home as it is haha. Enough talking, let’s look at those books!

On Monday I posted my review for Rise of the Sea Witch, the first book in the Unfortunate Souls Chronicles. The second one was released at the end of March and I had the opportunity to read and review. Is this one just as good as Rise of the Sea Witch?

When I read what this book was about, I expected an epic love story between two people who weren’t supposed to be together. This was kind of true, but this book was so much more than I expected. I have read a lot of romances and forbidden loves, but never something like this. This book impressed me so much that I actually finished it in one day.

This week’s topic is all about characters you liked that were in non-favorite or disliked books. To be honest, I don’t really like this one haha. There aren’t that many books I disliked and for me to than still like the characters is even more rare. So I went to Goodreads, sorted my books on my rating and than started to browse for ones with characters I liked. Apart from the first two, all of these are from books I gave 3 stars so I definitely didn’t hate the books, I just didn’t love the as much as other books. A few years ago my aunt sent me The Gryphon series by Stacey Rourke. She was in Boston at the time and knew I loved books. She had these signed for me and sent them to me. I really enjoyed this series and when the chance came along to be a part of the blog tour for Entombed in Glass, I needed to read Rise of the Sea Witch first. My review for Entombed in Glass is scheduled for Thursday, so it was time for the review of the first book now.
