Recently I talked about Even Though I Knew the End in one of my Can’t Wait Wednesday posts, and really soon after I was able to get an eARC! For once I actually immediately started reading the eARC and today I want to share my thoughts with you. So let’s jump in!

We’re two weeks away from Christmas, so I think it’s only appropriate to share a holiday romance review. The Mistletoe Motive is a novella by Chloe Liese and I want to talk about this book today. Keep on reading to find out more about this book and what I thought.
A big thanks to the author and Kobo for providing me with an e-arc to read and review!

Every month I get the Tor.com newsletter and with that comes a free ebook. Last month that was The Haunting of Tram Car 015. That title immediately grabbed my attention, probably because 015 is my area code, and I looked the story up on Goodreads. I found out this novella was the second in a series and that the first short story was for free on Tor.com as well. So I decided to read both as soon as possible. And I’m so happy I did! So today I have a mini review for both stories. Let’s jump in. Continue reading “Mini Reviews | A Dead Djinn in Cairo & The Haunting of Tram Car 015 – P. Djèlí Clark”
Teagan Hunter is a go to author for me when I need a laugh and a good romance. Even though her stories can be serious at times, there are always funny/lighter moments mixed in. The Slice series has been a lot of fun so far and I’ve reviewed them all up until now (A Pizza My Heart, I Knead You Tonight & Doughn’t Let Me Go).
This week the novella, A Slice of Love, was released. It was first found in the anthology Team Player 2, but can now be bought seperately. A big thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

If you’ve been following the blog, you know I’m a big fan of Taylor Danae Colbert’s books. I’ve loved them all (It Goes Without Saying, Bumps Along the Way, Off the Record and Rowan Revived). So you can imagine how excited I was when she announced a Christmas novella she had ready for her readers really fast!
The Way Back releases today and is amazing! A big thanks to Taylor for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

It’s the middle of November (or just about) and I’m the type of person who loves all things Christmas. Lauren Blakely wrote a novella that released yesterday, Special Delivery. After reading what it was about, I knew I needed to read it! Today I want to tell you my thoughts about this holiday romance.
A big thanks to the author and Candi Kane PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

As soon as I saw To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers on Netgalley I knew I had to read and review it. It’s only a novella, so it’s a short and fast read. I read it almost immediately but it took me quite a while to write a review. This is not a novella like any I’ve read before so I had to sort out my feelings first. And today it’s finally time to share those feelings and my thoughts about To Be Taught, If Fortunate with you all! Let’s dive in. Jennifer L. Armentrout is one my favorite authors and I was very excited about her newest release. The Wicked Trilogy was a lot of fun and she’s been spoiling us with a couple of novellas. Last year we got The Prince that left me wanting more. Last week the second novella, The King, was released. A big thanks to the author and Inkslinger PR for providing me an ARC to read and review.

Yesterday I shared my reviews of the 4th, 5th and 6th novella’s in the Ghosts of the Shadow Market anthology. Today I want to talk about story #7 and #8. We won’t get the last two stories until the physical copy of the bindup is released. Both these stories take place during Lady Midnight and the events are mentioned there as well. There are some spoilers for all the books leading up to Lady Midnight, so continue only if you’re all caught up. Continue reading “Mini Reviews | Ghosts of the Shadow Market #7-#8 – Cassandra Clare”
Candyce shared her reviews for the first three novella’s in the Ghosts of the Shadow Market this week and today I have my reviews for story #4, #5 and #6. I flew through all these stories in no time at all and it got me really excited to keep reading Lady Midnight. Not all were my favorites, but I’m sharing my thoughts on one of my favorite Ghosts of the Shadow Market stories today. So keep on reading to find out which that is!
