The next book in my Throne of Glass series reread! After reading the first three books in the series, it’s time for the bind up of the prequel novellas. These stories are pretty important and provide you with some much needed backstory. I personally think reading The Assassin’s Blade in between Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows is the perfect way to do it but there are different opinions for sure! Let’s take a look of what I thought of every different story.

Review | Arch-Conspirator – Veronica Roth
I got the eARC for Arch-Conspirator earlier this year and was pretty excited. Somehow I haven’t read anything by Veronica Roth since Divergent, even though I have another eARC still haha. This is a novella so that seemed like a fast read, but was it also an enjoyable one? Let’s take a look!

Review | Untethered Sky – Fonda Lee
I have Fonda Lee’s Jade City on my shelves and I want to read it badly. But I somehow haven’t picked it up yet. When I came across the eARC for Untethered Sky I immediately wanted to read it. And I picked it up right away. I also have to mention this is a Tordotcom novella, stories I usually love! Today I have my review for you, so let’s dive in. Review | Lost in the Moment and Found – Seanan McGuire
I can’t believe we’re already on book 8 of the Wayward Children series! This adventure started in 2016 (and for me it started in 2018) and it looks like it will keep going for at least 2 more years. I got an eARC of this January release and I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you. So let’s take a look!

Review | Even Though I Knew the End – C.L. Polk
Recently I talked about Even Though I Knew the End in one of my Can’t Wait Wednesday posts, and really soon after I was able to get an eARC! For once I actually immediately started reading the eARC and today I want to share my thoughts with you. So let’s jump in!

Review| The Mistletoe Motive – Chloe Liese
We’re two weeks away from Christmas, so I think it’s only appropriate to share a holiday romance review. The Mistletoe Motive is a novella by Chloe Liese and I want to talk about this book today. Keep on reading to find out more about this book and what I thought.
A big thanks to the author and Kobo for providing me with an e-arc to read and review!

Mini Reviews | A Dead Djinn in Cairo & The Haunting of Tram Car 015 – P. Djèlí Clark
Every month I get the Tor.com newsletter and with that comes a free ebook. Last month that was The Haunting of Tram Car 015. That title immediately grabbed my attention, probably because 015 is my area code, and I looked the story up on Goodreads. I found out this novella was the second in a series and that the first short story was for free on Tor.com as well. So I decided to read both as soon as possible. And I’m so happy I did! So today I have a mini review for both stories. Let’s jump in. Continue reading “Mini Reviews | A Dead Djinn in Cairo & The Haunting of Tram Car 015 – P. Djèlí Clark”
Review Blast| A Slice of Love – Teagan Hunter
Teagan Hunter is a go to author for me when I need a laugh and a good romance. Even though her stories can be serious at times, there are always funny/lighter moments mixed in. The Slice series has been a lot of fun so far and I’ve reviewed them all up until now (A Pizza My Heart, I Knead You Tonight & Doughn’t Let Me Go).
This week the novella, A Slice of Love, was released. It was first found in the anthology Team Player 2, but can now be bought seperately. A big thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review| The Way Back – Taylor Danae Colbert
If you’ve been following the blog, you know I’m a big fan of Taylor Danae Colbert’s books. I’ve loved them all (It Goes Without Saying, Bumps Along the Way, Off the Record and Rowan Revived). So you can imagine how excited I was when she announced a Christmas novella she had ready for her readers really fast!
The Way Back releases today and is amazing! A big thanks to Taylor for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review Blast| Special Delivery – Lauren Blakely
It’s the middle of November (or just about) and I’m the type of person who loves all things Christmas. Lauren Blakely wrote a novella that released yesterday, Special Delivery. After reading what it was about, I knew I needed to read it! Today I want to tell you my thoughts about this holiday romance.
A big thanks to the author and Candi Kane PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review!
