Review | The Martian – Andy Weir

The Martian has been on my wishlist for about 5 years! And last November I finally bought a copy. Of course I didn’t read it right away haha. But recently I picked the book back up and I’m happy to say I finally read the whole book. And today I want to share some of thoughts with you all. So let’s dive in. Review| Aurora Rising – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

Aurora Rising has been a book on my radar since its release. I actually even had it on my shelf the day it released, haha. Except it took me a year to read (oops!), haha. Then again, after reading the ending, I’m happy I waited closer to release day. Let’s talk about what I thought about the first book in The Aurora Cycle!

Review| Dev1at3 – Jay Kristoff

I read and reviewed Lifel1k3 quite some time ago, but didn’t take the time to read the sequel, Dev1at3. Before I started I did a reread of Lifel1k3 and then dived right into Dev1at3. All I can say before starting my review is saying that I’m very happy I decided to wait. After that ending, I need the third and final book. But first, let’s talk about Dev1at3!

TTT #130 | Science Fiction Books On My TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Wish I Had Read as a Child but I wasn’t really feeling that. So I decided to go with the genre freebie from a couple of week ago. I don’t read as much science fiction as I would like to so I decided to take a look at some of the science fiction books on my TBR! Let’s dive in. Mini Review | The Test – Sylvain Neuvel

The Test had been on my TBR for a bit and when I came across it for a decent price I just had to get it. This was one of my first books for the O.W.L.’s readathon. It’s a very short book so this won’t be a very long review but I wanted to share my thoughts nonetheless. Let’s dive in!

Review| Praying for Rain – B.B. Easton

B.B. Easton is an author I’ve heard about before, but have never read a book by her. When I heard about the release of Fighting for Rain, I became curious. Seeing how that was the second in the trilogy, I needed to read book one first. So today I want to tell you about Praying for Rain.

A big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing me with a digital copy of the book to read and review!

Review | To Be Taught, If Fortunate – Becky Chambers

As soon as I saw To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers on Netgalley I knew I had to read and review it. It’s only a novella, so it’s a short and fast read. I read it almost immediately but it took me quite a while to write a review. This is not a novella like any I’ve read before so I had to sort out my feelings first. And today it’s finally time to share those feelings and my thoughts about To Be Taught, If Fortunate with you all! Let’s dive in. Blog Tour | Nexus – Sasha Alsberg & Lindsay Cummings

Last year I listened to the audiobook of Zenith and contrary to a lot of people, I thought it was quite an enjoyable read! I was surprised at the twists, liked almost all characters, and enjoyed the world building. Sure it wasn’t the best book out there, but it was definitely enjoyable! So when I saw the blog tour for Nexus (the sequel to Zenith) was being announced I really wanted to participate. And luckily, I got the chance do that just that. A big thank you to the Fantastic Flying Book club and the publisher for providing me with not only an eARC, but also a physical copy for Instagram! There is a giveaway going on, on Instagram so please check that out. For now, let’s talk about Nexus!

Review| Alienated – Melissa Landers

After reading the LUX series a few years ago, when I saw a book with aliens involved, I was interested. Alienated was one of these books. Jennifer L. Armentrout is even blurbed on the cover and seeing how she wrote the LUX series, I needed to check this out!

I’m sad to say Alienated has been on my shelf for quite awhile, but I finally got around to reading it! Did it meet my expectations? Keep reading to find out!
