I have read every book in the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire and was always looking forward to the next instalment. But at some point I was getting less and less interested, as they weren’t as exciting to me anymore. I was still reading them but not right away and I wasn’t enjoying them as much. That’s why it took me so long to get to this one. But now I have read it, and I do want to share my thoughts with you all! So let’s jump in. Review | This Is Why We Lied – Karin Slaughter
Last week I was looking for a new audiobook and to my very pleasant surprise I saw the newest Karin Slaughter was already released. I adore her books and as soon as it releases I read the new Will Trent every year. So of course I started the audiobook right away and just a day later I finished the whole thing haha. And today I wanted to share my thoughts on the book, so let’s dive in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil – V.E. Schwab
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil – V.E. Schwab”
TTT #348| Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is throwback freebie, so I get to choose a topic I haven’t done or want to do again. I’ve decided to revisit books on my TBR I predict will be 5-star reads. I recently did a five star prediction post, but they’re always fun to do! Let’s take a look at some of my predictions.

Show Sunday | My Lady Jane
I already mentioned it in Friday’s post but this past week I have been watching the My Lady Jane tv show on Prime Video. I adore the My Lady Jane book so of course I wanted to see the show, but I was also a bit scared. Let’s see if the show lived up to what I hoped it would be! Review| A Fate Inked in Blood – Danielle L. Jensen
A Fate Inked in Blood has been on my radar since it was announced and I was so excited when I received an eARC. I always have issues reading things on time for some reason, but I’m actually mad at myself for taking so long to read this one. I finally did though, so keep on reading to find our more about this book and what I thought!
A big thank you to Del Rey and Netgalley for my eARC to read and review. This doesn’t change my opinion in any way.
