Bookish Item| Netgalley Backlist Part 2

At the end of March I posted about my Netgalley Backlist. I showed you five books I hadn’t gotten around to reading yet (I still haven’t read them either. Oops!). I’m still at a feedback rate of a little over 60%, but have read some amazing titles since the last time I posted.

Today I want to make a Netgalley Backlist Part 2. Out of the 107 books I’ve been approved for, there are 40 books I still need to read and review. Let’s take a look at a few of the older ones on this list!

Helena Hunting is a new to me author who I’ve heard amazing things about. Making Up is her newest book in the Shacking Up series and when I read the blurb I was really curious. Tag | Try A Chapter Book Tag

I have been planning on doing the Try A Chapter Book Tag for quiet a while now! As you may know, I have a lot of unread books on my shelves. Recently I got new bookcases and rearranged everything. I thought that would be a good moment to take a good look at my books and maybe unhaul some of them. You might remember this post, about my unread Fairyloot books. While I’m still interested in some of them, I think most of them won’t be ones I’ll read anytime soon if at all. So this Try A Chapter Book Tag seems like the perfect thing so figure out which of these book will stay and which will go. Continue reading “Tag | Try A Chapter Book Tag”

Lately I have been really into manga and have enjoyed reading a couple. I also started watching some manga youtubers and added quite some to my wishlist! So let’s take a look at that wishlist. Review Blast| Cruel Legacy – K.A. Linde

The Cruel trilogy was pitched as Cruel Intentions meets Gossip Girl and I was sold from the start. I’ve previously read and reviewed One Cruel Night (the prequel), Cruel Money and Cruel Fortune. Each one has left me wanting more! Today the final installment, Cruel Legacy, is out in the world.

A big thanks to the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me an ARC to read and review. Keep reading to find out what I thought of Cruel Legacy!

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Auto-buy Authors Part 2. For us it’s a part two, because Isabelle did this one last week, because she loved the topic. Let’s check out my list!

Review| Wilder Girls – Rory Power

Wilder Girls is never a book I expected to pick up. The cover definitely interested me from the start, but I normally don’t do horror at all! Right before it released I started reading a lot of positive reviews and people saying how amazing this book was. I couldn’t resist giving it a try and decided to order it. Today it’s time to tell you what I thought about this horror story!

Review| Beauty and the Beach – Kayla Tirrell

It’s not secret anymore that Kayla Tirrell has become one of my favorite authors. That being said, today I am sharing my review for her newest book, Beauty and the Beach. This book is a part of the Boys of Summer series multiple authors are participating in. They’re all standalones, but take place in the same small town.

A big thanks to the author for, once again, providing me with an ARC to read and review!
