Review Blast| Come Back for Me – Corinne Michaels

Corinne Michaels knows how to write books that hit you in all the feels. Ever since she started talking about her next release, I was really interesting. Come Back for Me sounded like it was going to be an amazing story. This book released on the 7th and today I want to talk about my thoughts!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

I do have to post a warning with this book, because there is domestic abuse that is described in this book. I could understand it’s not always easy to read!

Bookish Item | Most Disappointing 2019 Reads

So far we’ve talked a lot about the books we loved! We had a list of our favorite backlist books, 2019 releases, romances and graphic novels. While we’re both really lucky to have read so many amazing books, some of these didn’t live up to our expectations. So today we’re talking about our most disappointing reads of 2019! Let’s take a look. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Most Disappointing 2019 Reads”

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Hunting November – Adriana Mather

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after Candyce did Can’t Wait Wednesday we decided that would be a fun way to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Today I want to talk about Hunting November the sequel to Killing November. I really liked this YA mystery/thriller by Adriana Mather and the sequel made it to my TTT yesterday! Let’s see what it’s about.

Review Blast| Always Mine – Kennedy Fox

The Roommate Duets have been a lot of fun. I really enjoyed Hunter & Lennon (Baby Mine & Baby Yours) and Mason & Sophie (Truly Mine & Truly Yours). While reading these books, Liam and Maddie have been characters we’ve seen a lot of. They’re finally getting their own duet, Always Mine and Always Yours. Always Mine is out in the world today and I’m going to tell you what I thought!

A big thanks to Kennedy Fox and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

TTT #114 | 2020 Releases Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Anticipated 2020 Releases (for the first half of the year). Earlier this morning Isabelle did this one as well. You can read that one here. It was such a fun topic and 2020 has so many releases, I decided to do this one as well and write a part 2!

TTT #113 | 2020 Releases part 1

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020. Because both Candyce and I were very excited for this topic and we planned on doing a post about this anyway, we decided to both do this one. So her TTT post will be up a bit later today. You should definitely check back in to see her picks. We tried to both pick 10 different books! Let’s get a look at those anticipated releases. Continue reading “TTT #113 | 2020 Releases part 1”

Blog Tour| Cub – Cynthia L. Copeland

In all honesty, Cub wasn’t on my radar. Not until the publisher contacted me to see if I wanted to be a part of the blog tour. This middle grade graphic memoir sounded really interesting, so I couldn’t say no. Cub is out in the world tomorrow, but today I wanted to talk about what I thought!

A big thanks to Algonquin Young Readers for providing me with a Netgalley widget to read and review!
