Last month after reading Truly Mine, I was so upset that I didn’t have the sequel right away. Luckily, we don’t have to wait long for Truly Yours. It’s now available!! This book will finally give us answers to all the questions we have. A big thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the authors for providing me with an ARC to read and review!!

Review
The second book in a duet is always harder to write a review for, because it’s so easy to spoil things when you start describing what you loved about a book. With that being said, I will definitely keep this review a little shorter, because it’s really just a duet you need to experience on your own.
Truly Mine & Truly Yours are definitely a bit darker than the other books I’ve read by Kennedy Fox, but the writing was amazing. I was sucked right in to the stories and emotionally attached to these characters.. Also there is quite a bit of suspense in this book. While reading the first third of this book I was sitting at the edge of my seat wondering how everything would play out.
Mason & Sophie are both amazing characters. I love how hard Mason fought for his career, even when his father was trying to make everything go his own way. He’s so passionate and caring and would definitely do anything for the ones he loves. Sophie is another character who worked so hard for her career and was so passionate about it. Getting to play music for a living is something many people dream of.
What I loved most about this book is that when certain things were solved, it didn’t mean everything was good and they all lived happily ever after. The emotional consequences and aftermath was very well written. I loved that these characters loved each other so much that they really fought for their love. This didn’t feel forced or fake, but very genuine. On top of that, even in the darker times they could make each other laugh every once in awhile.
Even though I really loved this story, I decided not to give Truly Yours five stars. I made this decision, because I felt that certain events were unnecessary or didn’t feel quite right in this story. It dragged on some level and I wouldn’t have missed those few tiny things.
Another thing I did love though, was seeing a lot of Hunter and Lennon. They were amazing in the first duet and I love little appearances like that. And Liam and Madelyn are going to be great characters for the next duet. I’m definitely curious about them and what their story will bring!

Kennedy Fox definitely gave us another very emotional and beautiful duet. I couldn’t put either book down and I’m excited for the next duet! If you’ve ever read anything by Kennedy Fox, let me know in the comments! I’m curious about what others think!
