There’s only a few days left in July, so it’s time to talk about what I want to read in August. To be honest, I don’t always follow this list of books, but they are the ones I’m really hoping to all complete. Once again I’m very ambitious, so it may be a challenge to get all of them done, haha. Keep on reading to find out what books are on my August TBR!
When you’re reading this I have been in France for two days but I’m writing this while I’m still at home haha. I’m going to France for a week and of course I am bringing some books with me. This is always such a hard part of packing my bag. While I also have my ebooks and audiobooks, I need some physical books and I you have to leave the rest at home… Interested to see which ones I decided to bring? Let’s take a look! As usual, Isabelle and I set up some reading goals ever year. We’re over halfway through the year, so it’s time for a mid year reading goals update. Isabelle posted her update last week, so it’s my turn now! Earlier this year I did a little update, so let’s see how I’ve gotten on since then.

Last week Candyce shared her part of the Mid Year Book Awards. It’s a bit like the Mid Year Freak Out Book Tag but we came up with our own prompts/questions. We enjoyed coming up with these questions and we hope you’ll enjoy our answers. Let’s jump in!

Before 2021 started both Candyce and I set ourselves some reading goals. 2020 was not a great reading year for me so I didn’t do great on those goals. But I did set some goals for 2021 again. And since we’re half way through the year I thought it would be great to take a look and see how I’m doing so far. To be honest, I’m not completely sure which goals I set for myself so this is also a good reminder. But I do have an inkling and you could say I’m worried haha. Let’s take a look! We decided to create our own mid year book awards. What books have we been loving? What books surprised us? And a few other categories as well. This week I’ll talk about my favorites and Isabelle will next week. Keep on reading to find out what books get my awards!

A little while ago a wrote a post about Audible and if it was worth it for me. I haven’t canceled my subscription yet so I got a new credit this week. There are a couple of books on my wishlist and I need your help to figure out which one I will use my credit on! Let’s jump in. Continue reading “Bookish Item | My Audible Wishlist”
When this post comes online we still have a little less then two weeks of June, but this is my last bookish item before the end of the month. That means that this month my July TBR will be posted a bit early and there definitely will be changes made and probably some books added. I still want to talk about the books I know for sure now that I will end up reading in July.
As you might know, I adore Loki. He’s by far my favorite Marvel character and I couldn’t be more excited that he got his own tv show. This week we got the fist episode and it reminded me I had a bunch of Loki comics saved on my Marvel Unlimited app to read. So let’s take a look at those! Lately it’s harder finding tags to do that we want to do at the moment, so when we saw this post we hadn’t seen before we knew we needed to give it a go. We discovered Last Year I Was Reading on Cozy with Books. This meme was originally created by Reading Maria and started off on Instagram! A couple of week ago Candyce did the first post in this series and today is my turn. Let’s check out what this is all about an what I was reading last year!
