Earlier this week I wrote my Top Ten Tuesday post about ten books on my Fall TBR I hope to read when off of work in October. I have three weeks of vacation in October and I’m hoping to really have a better reading month than September. So this may be overly ambitious, but I’m giving myself some choices. Keep on reading if you want to know what books I’m hoping to read.
Last week Candyce wrote a Last Year I Was Reading post and I though it would be fun to do one as well. I really enjoy looking back at what I was reading before and it’s a nice way to be reminded of those books again. We discovered Last Year I Was Reading on Cozy with Books. This meme was originally created by Reading Maria and started off on Instagram! Let’s check out what this is all about an what I was reading last year! One of my favourite Top Ten Tuesdays every year is a list of my most anticipated releases. At the start of the year we did one for the first half of 2021. I thought it would be fun to look back at the list and see if I actually read them. What do you think, how many did I read? Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Did I Read Them; Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2021”
It’s been almost four months since I’ve done a Last Year I Was Reading post, so I’d say it’s time again! It’s always fun to look back on what I was reading and if it’s anything like what I’m reading now.

It’s been almost a month since my last Netgalley Backlist post, so I’d say it’s time to write another one. Since the last post I’ve added way too many books to my Kindle. It’s really time to make my Netgalley TBR a priority. So let’s take a look at the next 8 books in my Netgalley Backlist Part 7.
Slowly but surely fall is coming! And with fall I just really like to read (more) cosy mysteries. I came across another cosy mystery I want to read last week and it was actually the theme for 5 On My TBR. Since I usually don’t get them as physical books, I didn’t do that post. But I like to talk about them anyway so I figured why not make another post about them haha. Let’s take a look at some cosy mysteries I want to read! It’s almost the end of August and that means it’s time to think about what I want to read next month. Of course, I have some group/buddy reads planned, there are some ARCs and a few books I just really hope to get to. My August TBR didn’t quite go to plan, but I never expect it to. It’s just an idea of what I want to read that’s almost always changes. So if you want to know what I hope to read in September, keep on reading!
Lately Candyce has been showing her Netgalley Backlist in an effort to put those books back on her radar. While we both are quite lucky with getting amazing eARC’s our ratio’s aren’t that great… At the moment mine is 37% and I really want to get it towards 45% by the end of the year. Over two years ago I wrote a blogpost about a part of my backlist and I want to continue that. I’ll warn you now, there will be some older releases in here ;). Let’s take a look! If you’ve been following the blog for some time now you know I really want to increase my Netgalley feedback ratio. It’s been one of my reading goals for the last few years and I haven’t done a very good job. So I really want to do more of these Netgalley Backlist posts, because it’s reminds me of what I have and hopefully I can get some advice about what I should read first. My last Netgalley Backlist post was in February, so it’s definitely time. Let’s take a look at the next 8 books!
It’s time for another Bookish Beginnings. The last one was in February, so it’s been a while, haha. This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. We both got an eARC of All of Us Villains last week and wanted to start reading it right away! Today we’ll share our first thoughts, let’s get into it!
