One of my favourite Top Ten Tuesdays every year is a list of my most anticipated releases. At the start of the year we did one for the first half of 2021. I thought it would be fun to look back at the list and see if I actually read them. What do you think, how many did I read? Let’s jump in!

1.Lore – Alexandra Bracken

While I do own this one, I haven’t read it yet. And I do want to badly haha. I love Alexandra Bracken and I need to read more of her work. This also sounds a book I would love a lot.

2. Across the Green Grass Fields – Seanan McGuire

I have read this one! Unfortunately I didn’t love it as much as I did the previous ones. This world should’ve been my favorite but unfortunately it wasn’t. I did love the representation and there were some amazing quotes as always.

3. Bridge of Souls – Victoria Schwab

I read an eARC of this one and I adored it! It was really spooky and overall just wonderful. But I did hate that it was the last book in the series haha. I really hoped we would get a couple more but I guess this was it. It was nice to finish a series ;).

4. Dial A for Aunties – Jesse Q Sutanto

Candyce read and enjoyed this one and I almost bought it a couple of times. It’s still high on my list to get and read! I think it will be really fun.

I’ve had this eARC for quite a while now, and I had planned on reading it before the release date. But alas haha. I do still want to read it and I think it will be really cool!

6. Realm Breaker – Victoria Aveyard

I adore Victoria Aveyard and I want to read this one badly. Red Queen was a favorite of mine, even though I didn’t enjoy the sequel. I do want to finish that series this year and after that I plan on picking up Realm Breaker.

7. Arsenic and Adobo – Mia P. Manansala

Another one Candyce already read. The sequel come out early 2022 so I have to get onto it soonish. I love a good cosy mystery and I have high hopes for this one.

8. 10 Truths and a Dare – Ashley Elston

I can’t believe I haven’t gotten this one yet! 10 Blind Dates was one of my favorites in 2019 and I think this one will be equally great. I really enjoy Ashley’s writing style and the family we followed and I can’t wait to come back to them.

9. Heartstopper vol. 4 – Alice Oseman

Heartstopper is one of my favorite graphic novels ever! This is the fourth volume and I read it as soon as I got it. We will only get one my volume and I’m just not ready. I love the representation in this story and want all the best for these boys (and the rest of the characters).

10. My Contrary Mary – Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows

How can I not have read this one?!?! I love the Jane series and was so disappointed in myself for taking so long to read the first book. And now I’m kinda doing the same with the first Mary book haha. I know I will love this book that is set in the same world as My Lady Jane.

Not great haha. I’ve only read 3 of these so far. Luckily I already own a couple of these and I hope I can read them soon. The rest is high on my wishlist and I hope to add them to my shelves soon. Have you read any of these? Which would you recommend I pick up first?
