Bookish Item| 5 On My TBR – RomComs

I’m always looking for new memes to do on the blog for bookish items on Friday. On Twitter I heard about a new one 5 On My TBR. This is normally done on Mondays, but I’m moving it to Friday, because it works just a bit better for our schedule, haha.

#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook and you can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. It occurs every Monday when we post about 5 books on our TBR. RomComs was the prompt for March 23rd, but I love them too much to not do this one! Let’s take a look at five romcoms on my TBR.

There will be spoilers 😉 Just in case haha. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Ranking the Harry Potter Books”

Can’t Wait Wednesday| The Mall – Megan McCafferty

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

TTT #127| Books I Bought Because They Were Recommended By a Friend

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Bought/Borrowed Because…I decided to go with Books I Bought Because They Were Recommended By a Friend. A lot of books I buy and read are collected after a friend recommended it. I’m lucky to have quite a few bookishfriends with the same taste as me. So here are ten books I bought after they were recommended.

Looking Back at Our Bookhauls| March 2019

It’s that time of month again to look back at one of our previous bookhauls. This month it’s time for March 2019. This is our birthday month, so the amount of books we ending up collecting could go either way, haha. What did we get, what have we read? Let’s take a look!

Review| Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating – Christina Lauren

I don’t think I need to say that I’m a big fan of romance, haha. That being said, I always like trying out new books. Christina Lauren is a duo that I definitely know about, but haven’t read much by. I think the only book I reviewed is Autoboyography. A friend of mine was listening to Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating and said it was really good.

At that moment, I was looking for a new romance to start and decided to give this one a go. Did I end up enjoying this book? Let’s take look!

Bookish Item | The Forgotten TBR Challenge

I pick up books only to put them down before ending them all the time. So I have quite some half read books and that needs to change haha. The quarantine seems like the perfect time to read all those forgotten books. I’m challenging myself to read (or officially DNF) all these book before the Corona crisis is done. Assuming it’s going to be at least two more months haha. So let’s see which books are on my pile of forgotten books! Continue reading “Bookish Item | The Forgotten TBR Challenge”
