I’m always looking for new memes to do on the blog for bookish items on Friday. On Twitter I heard about a new one 5 On My TBR. This is normally done on Mondays, but I’m moving it to Friday, because it works just a bit better for our schedule, haha.
#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook and you can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. It occurs every Monday when we post about 5 books on our TBR. RomComs was the prompt for March 23rd, but I love them too much to not do this one! Let’s take a look at five romcoms on my TBR.
Dating You/Hating You – Christina Lauren I think it’s pretty obvious that an enemies to lovers romance will definitely have some funny moments. After reading the synopsis, I can’t wait to read this one. It’s been on my TBR for way too long and that needs to change.
Undercover Bromance – Lyssa Kay Adams The Bromance Book Club was one of my favorite romances last year. It had me laughing out loud multiple times while reading. Undercover Bromance is the next book in the series and I hope this one lives up to my expectations!
The Honey Don’t List – Christina Lauren Another Christina Lauren book, haha. After recently reading Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating, I really want to read more of their books. The Honey Don’t List is the newest release and sounds like a lot of fun. A couple that can’t stand each other right before a book and show launches… what could go wrong?!? Haha.
Can’t Text This – Teagan Hunter The Texting series is so hilarious and definitely a favorite when it comes to romcoms. Except I read them out of order (luckily they can be read as standalones). Can’t Text this is the third book in the series and the only left for me to read.
One Night Stand-In – Lauren Blakely This is the third and final book in the Boyfriend Material series by Lauren Blakely. I loved Asking for a Friend and Sex and Other Shiny Objects. I read both of these books in one sitting and they had me laughing a lot while reading. One Night Stand-In sounds like it’s going to do the same!
So these are only five of the many romcoms on my TBR. I love these books, especially in between the hardhitting contemporary or darker fantasy books that I read. Sometimes I just need a good laugh. What are some of your favorite romcoms? I’d love to hear about them. Let me know in the comments!
