Bookish Item | Ranking the Harry Potter Movies

I know it says Bookish Item, and then I put movies in the title but hear me out haha. After doing the Harry Potter books ranking, I also wanted to do a movie ranking. And it seems weird to not have that as a bookish item after that last post. As you might have read in my latest Royal Update, I watched all of the Harry Potter movies and realized I may not have watched all of them before. While it seems unlikely that I didn’t devour the movies like I did the books, there were so many scenes I didn’t recognize that I’m pretty sure I didn’t watch movie 3 through 8 before last week. I really feel like watching them all over again now but I’ll first give you my ranking of the movies!
Obviously there will once again be spoilers Continue reading “Bookish Item | Ranking the Harry Potter Movies”

Bookish Item | Ranking the Harry Potter Books

Its nice to have something to comfort you in these trying times, and for me Harry Potter has been one of those things. I adore the series (and the whole wizarding world) with my whole heart. But of course we can’t love all 7 books entirely equally. So today I wanted to show you all my ranking of the Harry Potter books. Let’s dive in!
There will be spoilers 😉 Just in case haha. Continue reading “Bookish Item | Ranking the Harry Potter Books”

Bookish Item| Magical Readathon 2020 TBR – Part 1

Even though I really end up failing at readathons after making a TBR, I still love trying to see how far I get. I enjoyed the winter edition of the magical readthon last December and was excited to give the O.W.L.s. a go! This readathon will take place the whole month of April and was created by Book Roast. You can find the video to this year’s readathon here.

Today it’s time for my 2020 Magical Readathon TBR. Isabelle will be posting her TBR next week, that’s why this one is part 1. Let’s take a look!

Tag| The Harry Potter Christmas Tag

Technically yesterday was Christmas, but here in The Netherlands we have a second day. I figured I would squeeze in just one more Christmas tag for the year with the The Harry Potter Christmas Tag. I just couldn’t resist.

I saw this tag on For Books Sake, but it was originally created by Charleigh Writes. Let’s take a look at this Harry Potter tag.

As massive Harry Potter fans we obviously need to participate in a Magical Readathon! Isabelle already participated in the O.W.L.s readathon earlier this year and that was so much fun. G from Book Roast has been hosting these Harry Potter themed Magical Readathons and for this Holiday season we’re getting the Christmas at Hogwarts edition <3 We can’t wait to participate and today we want to show our possible TBR’s. Movie Fave or Flop | Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

After waiting two years it was finally time for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald! I had been looking forward to this movie for ever and kept watching the movie trailers over and over. Last Tuesday there was a showing of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and then Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald at my local movie theatre and obviously I had to go even though it was in the middle of the night haha. I need to fangirl about this movie so I want to share my thoughts with you all! Continue reading “Movie Fave or Flop | Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”

Tag | Harry Potter Spells Book Tag

The moment I came across this tag on Booktube I knew that was going to be my next tag haha. I’m a huge Potterhead and having just been to the studios in London I’m currently even more obsessed with everything HP. So I saw this tag on a couple of channels but ultimately got it from G’s channel Bookroast. I would highly recommend you watching her videos and her Harry Potter Spells book tag after you read my answers 😉 Continue reading “Tag | Harry Potter Spells Book Tag”

How I Met My Book #13| Harry Potter House Edition – J.K. Rowling

We were looking for something to post on Sundays when we don’t have anything planned. Then I saw a post on Early Bookish Bird‘s blog and it seemed like the perfect fit. Today I will be posting about how I met my house edition of the first Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling.

In this post we tell the story behind our books. The following questions will be answered: Where did we get the book? Why did we pick it up? What made us pick it up in the first place? Continue reading “How I Met My Book #13| Harry Potter House Edition – J.K. Rowling”

Bookish Item| Bookish Quotes

As a book lover I come across quotes that stick with me. Some sentences are either really impressive or are relatable. I’ve been thinking about an item like this for awhile. This will be an item that comes back more frequently I think. There are a lot of bookish quotes that I love. Today I will share some of my favorite quotes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
