On Christmas Day the newest Netflix show, Bridgerton was released. You probably heard about it already since it’s an adaptation of the Julia Quinn book series Bridgerton. At the beginning of the year, Isabelle and I chose 3 books we wanted the other to read. I finally finished the first one (and am over halfway with the second one), haha. Anthologies can be tricky, because short stories have to grab your attention pretty quickly. When we heard about Vampires Never Get Old we were both excited. Stories about vampires can be pretty interesting. The line up in this anthology was amazing and that made it even easier to pick this one up. This year has been a weird one, but 2020 has been a year filled with a lot of amazing middle grade books. Today I’m excited to talk about Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston. This middle grade book releases in January 2021 and you don’t want to miss out! It’s definitely going to be on the my list of 2020 favorites. I won’t be forgetting about this book anytime soon.
