Down the TBR Hole #20

It’s been a month since I’ve done a Down the TBR Hole that I thought it would be a good time to do one again. My Want to Read shelf on Goodreads has increased again, so it’s time to take a look again!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #20”

Review | The Turn Of The Key – Ruth Ware

October is the perfect month to read thrillers, so I decided I wanted to share a thriller review with you all today. Recently I listened to the audiobook off The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware. I listened to it in two days and only stopped in between because I had to be social for a couple of hours haha. Because it’s a thriller, I would recommend not reading the synopsis as they usually reveal a little bit too much in my opinion. Let’s get into it! Blog Tour | Getting Played – Emma Chase

After reading Getting Schooled last year, I knew I would want to read more from Emma Chase. When she announced Dean getting his own story in Getting Played, I was very excited! This book didn’t disappoint and I’m excited to tell you what I thought about this book today! There is also a little excerpt, so make sure to check that out as well.

A big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing an ARC to read and review.

Tag | Halloween Creatures Book Tag

The month of October is perfect for all things spooky and creepy so I figured I’d look for a Halloween tag for you all. I found the Halloween Creatures Book tag over at Meltingpotsandothercalamaties and it was originally created by Anthony from Keep Reading Forward. This was a really fun tag to do and I made some simple images to go with the questions. Let’s get into it! Continue reading “Tag | Halloween Creatures Book Tag”

Review Blast| Down Too Deep – J. Daniels

I’ve been a fan of J. Daniels’ books since reading the first Alabama Summer book. She hasn’t written a book I haven’t loved yet and when I heard about Down Too Deep, I was so excited!! Nate is a character I really wanted to read more about and my wish was granted.

A big thanks to the author and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC on Netgalley!

We both decided to participate, so today we’re sharing our Halloween Swap Wishlist.

This week’s topic is Character Traits I Love. It’s hard to think of specific traits, but I’ll try to choose ten based on some of the characters I love!

Looking Back At Our Bookhauls | September 2018

Every month we add books to our collections, but we’ve been curious about how much of them we actually read. In Looking Back at Our Bookhauls, we take a look at our hauls from the year before. What have we read and what do we still need to read? We hope this motivates us more to get to our unread books and maybe buy a little less. Even if this doesn’t always work, haha. Today we’re looking back at our book hauls from September 2018.
