Not too long ago, I posted my review for Storm and Fury. I really enjoyed that book and was really happy that the release of the sequel was right around the corner. Like we already mentioned in our most anticipated releases of July, 2020 is flying by. Half of the year is just about over, so I thought I’d do the Mid Year Freak Out Tag. Last Year Isabelle did this one and we both did it the year before. Even though a lot is going on in the world this year, I have had an amazing reading year so far. As I’m typing this I’ve read 136 books out of the 200 I have set for my Goodreads goal. So let’s talk about some of those books in this tag!

When I read that Spin the Dawn was being pitched as Mulan meets Project Runway, I have to say that got my attention. This book came out almost a year ago, but I just haven’t had the chance to read it yet. Last month I picked it up at the bookstore to read for a group read this month. The Hot Jocks series has been a lot of fun to read this past year (Playing for Keeps, All the Way, Trying to Score, Crossing the Line and Wild for You have already been reviewed). This team of amazing hockey players has given us some amazing romances. Kendall Ryan has given us some amazing book boyfriends and the last book is now out in the world. Taking His Shot released June 8th and I want to talk about that book today!

On June 17th the first season of Love, Victor released on Hulu. This show is a spin-off off the movie Love, Simon which is based on the book Simon VS the Homo Sapiens Agenda.
