Not too long ago, I posted my review for Storm and Fury. I really enjoyed that book and was really happy that the release of the sequel was right around the corner. Rage and Ruin was released at the beginning of July and a friend and I did a buddyread right away. Let’s say it was another wild ride. Keep on reading for my full review of this book!

I truly plan on reading them all soon haha. Let’s dive in! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Completed Series On My Shelf I Still Need to Start Part 2”

Tag | Mid Year Freak Out Tag 2020

Like we already mentioned in our most anticipated releases of July, 2020 is flying by. Half of the year is just about over, so I thought I’d do the Mid Year Freak Out Tag. Last Year Isabelle did this one and we both did it the year before. Even though a lot is going on in the world this year, I have had an amazing reading year so far. As I’m typing this I’ve read 136 books out of the 200 I have set for my Goodreads goal. So let’s talk about some of those books in this tag!

Last week I posted my review of Changeling and couldn’t wait to read the sequel. The Unready Queen released yesterday and it was another magical adventure. Today for my stop on the blog tour, I want to tell you what I thought of this book.

A big thank you to Algonquin Young Readers for providing me an e-arc on Netgalley to read and review!

TTT #138 | Books On My 2020 Summer TBR Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a bit of a freebie one because TTT turns 10! Can you believe this bookish meme has been around for 10 years? I decided to go with a part 2 of Candyce’s TTT from last week. So we’re going to look at my 2020 Summer TBR. Let’s dive in! Continue reading “TTT #138 | Books On My 2020 Summer TBR Part 2”

Review| Spin the Dawn – Elizabeth Lim

When I read that Spin the Dawn was being pitched as Mulan meets Project Runway, I have to say that got my attention. This book came out almost a year ago, but I just haven’t had the chance to read it yet. Last month I picked it up at the bookstore to read for a group read this month. I’m so happy I finally picked this up, because Spin the Dawn was so good. Keep on reading for my full review!

Review| Taking His Shot – Kendall Ryan

The Hot Jocks series has been a lot of fun to read this past year (Playing for Keeps, All the Way, Trying to Score, Crossing the Line and Wild for You have already been reviewed). This team of amazing hockey players has given us some amazing romances. Kendall Ryan has given us some amazing book boyfriends and the last book is now out in the world. Taking His Shot released June 8th and I want to talk about that book today!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Show Sunday | Love, Victor

On June 17th the first season of Love, Victor released on Hulu. This show is a spin-off off the movie Love, Simon which is based on the book Simon VS the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Do you still follow along? Haha. Even though I was supposed to be studying for my exams I figured it would be okay to just watch the first episode and to if it was any good. We all can imagine how that went…. Continue reading “Show Sunday | Love, Victor”
