Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue”

TTT #149| Books That Make Me Hungry (For More) Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books for My Younger Self, but I’m not so sure about this one. So I decided to do a part 2 of Isabelle’s topic last week: Books That Make Me Hungry (For More). Let’s talk about ten books that left me wanting more!

As booklovers we both love buying books. That got us thinking… do we actually read the books we buy? That’s how this Looking Back at Our Bookhauls idea got started. How did we do? Continue reading “Looking Back at Our Bookhaul | August 2019”

Fangirl Friday | My 20 Favorite Hamilton Songs

If you spent any time on our blog lately you know Candyce and mostly I have become obsessed with Hamilton lately. I have been listening to the songs over and over and over and over. After watching a Youtube video on the best Hamilton songs I figured I could do a post about that. There are 46 songs in the show so I thought it would be fair to pick my favourite 20. Of course this was hard and it’s all just based on my feeling and mostly on my enjoyment. So these might not be the ‘best’ songs but they are the ones I love the most! Let’s jump in 😉 Continue reading “Fangirl Friday | My 20 Favorite Hamilton Songs”

It’s Thursday and tag time! I was looking for a tag and stumbled upon The Spotify Tag on Chiara’s blog Bookworms Anonymous. The Spotify Tag was originally created by Book Hooked Nook.
