We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books for My Younger Self, but I’m not so sure about this one. So I decided to do a part 2 of Isabelle’s topic last week: Books That Make Me Hungry (For More). Let’s talk about ten books that left me wanting more!
Ironspark – C.M. McGuire I read Ironspark recently and enjoyed the story. That being said, I did miss some plot/world building in this book. It also ends really open. I can’t find anything about a sequel, but I hope we get more. I need more Marshmallow!
The How and the Why – Cynthia Hand If I’m honest, I can already tell you this is going to be on my favorites list at the end of the year. The How and the Why was such a touching story. Even though the ending was wrapped up nicely, I wouldn’t say no to more of this story. Maybe seeing how the main character is doing in college?
Slay – Brittney Morris Another book that will be in my favorites list at the end of the year. Slay is a book I can’t recommend it enough. I would love to see more of this game and how our main character continues with everything.
The Shadows Between Us – Tricia Levenseller Okay, so I really enjoyed this book, but the ending felt a bit rushed for me. I really think too much was put into ome book. The Shadows Between Us is such an interesting story and I think it deserves another book.
Sorcery of Thorns – Margaret Rogerson I knew this was a stand-alone, but I really feel there is so much more that can be done with this story. A lot was left open and I would love more of certain characters.
The Way Back – Taylor Danae Colbert This author makes me love all of her characters and stories. The Way Back is a novella that takes place around the holidays. My favorite time of year! I loved these characters so much, I need more!
Don’t Say a Word – Amber Lynn Natusch This was a series pitched for fans of Veronica Mars and it’s so good. Besides the main character trying to prove her father’s innocence, a lot of other things happen. I loved the first two books and hoping for more. I know that there was supposed to be more, but not everything was going smoothly behind the scenes.
Wilder Girls – Rory Power I decided to give horror a go and ended up liking it more than expected. It was creepy, but it wasn’t too much. It had an open ending and I’m not a fan of those, haha. I need more!
Red, White and Royal Blue – Casey McQuiston If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, you’ll know I love everything about this book, haha. Even though the main characters are all set, there are so many side characters I’d love to read more about.
Song of the Dead – Sarah Glenn Marsh I loved Reign of the Fallen and was really excited about Song of the Dead. Unfortunately it was kind of a let down. A lot was focused on the romance and it felt a bit rushed at times. I would love a third book.
So these are ten books that make me hungry for more. What do you think? Would you want more of these books? Let me know in the comments. Feel free to leave the links to your TTT as well!

Great list! I’ve heard such good things about Slay and Sorcery of Thorns.
I definitely agree on Red, White, and Royal Blue and Shadows Between Us. While I didn’t necessarily think the ending was rushed, I did stay stuck in this world for weeks after. I would randomly just start thinking about how I wanted to get back to it. But then I remembered I finished it and it’s over 😭
I’m glad you decided to participate every week! It’s cool to see some of the same folks over and over again. 🙂

Yes to The How & the Why! That was one of my favorite books I read last year. Great list!
