We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books I Loved but Never Reviewed. I tend to have this happen often, so I’ll have to look back at Goodreads to see what ones fit this prompt. Let’s take a look!
Aurora Burning – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff This book was so good! I just couldn’t put it down. That always makes it harder for me to write my reviews. Also, Aurora Burning is a sequel and I don’t want to spoil anyone who hasn’t read the first book. I really need to think before writing this review.
Girls Save the World in This One – Ash Parsons I didn’t know what to expect when I started this book except that it took place at a con. Our main character belongs to a fandom and has the chance to meet her favorite characters. That’s when zombies come in. I really enjoyed this story, it’s just hard to put my thoughts into a review.
Wicked – Jennifer L. Armentrout When I read this book the first time, it was way before this blog even existed. Which would easily explain why I don’t have a review. After my recent reread I may have to change that. Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favorite authors and I definitely recommend her books.
The Black Witch – Laurie Forest In my opinion this book doesn’t get enough hype. The world Laurie Forest creates is amazing and I was hooked from the start. So much happens in this book and I really feel that The Black Witch is just something you need to experience yourself and not read a review.
House of Earth and Blood – Sarah J Maas I actually forgot that this didn’t have a review yet, haha. I remember that I was going to wait for Isabelle to finish reading so we could write a buddy review. She isn’t done yet and this will be another book where I have a hard time putting my thoughts into words.
Tweet Cute – Emma Lord This was such a cute book! My contemporary loving heart was happy after reading this book. I thought about it and I don’t know why I didn’t write my review for this one.
Don’t Read the Comments – Eric Smith Again, such a good read. I loved the aspects of being an online figure and girls gaming. When I picked this one up, I listened to the audiobook. I tend to zone out at times, so I want to read the physical book before writing my review.
Vicious – V.E. Schwab I wanted to read this for so long after hearing the author talk about it when I was at an interview she did last year. I loved having a book with main characters that weren’t really the good guys. I need to read the sequel soon.
The Red Scrolls of Magic – Cassandra Clare Just like I said before with Don’t Read the Comments, I listened to the audiobook when I picked this one up. I know for sure I missed some details. I want to do a reread before the sequel releases.
Get a Life, Chloe Brown – Talia Hibbert Again, I don’t know why I didn’t write my review for this after loving this book so much. I plan on reading the sequel/companion novel soon. I think I just waited to long to sit down and write my review (and that happens more than I’d like to admit).
So these are a few books that I’ve loved but haven’t reviewed. Sometimes it’s just really hard to describe how a book made you feel. What books have you loved but never reviewed? Let me know in the comments. Feel free to leave your links as well!
