Bookish Item| June TBR

Lately I’ve been all over the place with my reading and in May I haven’t completely followed my TBR, but I still like making these posts. It gives me ideas and I do read at least few of the books I talk about when I think of my TBR, haha. There are still 10 days in the month, but I already have a list of books I want to read. So keep on reading for my June TBR!

Tag | Days of the Week

Recently I stumbled across Zezee’s blog again and found some wonderful tags to do! And I also found this one there. The Days of the Week tag was originally created by Jay Dee Archer on Youtube. You have to pick a book based on things that are commonly associated with the days of the week, and that could be related to mythology or religion or anything you can think off. I’m a bit lazy so I just copies Zezee’s list of associations haha. Let’s jump in! This is a different days of the week tag than Candyce did last month! Continue reading “Tag | Days of the Week”

Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Heart Principle – Helen Hoang

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Heart Principle – Helen Hoang”

TTT #185| Book Titles That Are Complete Sentences

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is book titles that are complete sentences. I don’t think I’ve ever done one like this. I’m going to have to look through my shelves and Goodreads for this one. Let’s take a look! I’ll be using a combination of books I’ve read and haven’t read yet.

5 On My TBR | Literary Fiction

We already try keeping track of our TBR in different ways, but it’s also fun to look at them in themes. That’s one of the reasons why the bookish meme 5 On My TBR is so much fun. This bookish meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. For this week the prompt is Literary Fiction. This is not a genre I read a lot so I had to do a Goodreads deep dive to see if I had any on my shelves haha. And I managed to find a couple! So let’s jump in. I’ve read a couple of books by Emily Kazmierski (Deadly First Day & Lethal Queen Bee) and I was really excited when she announced her next book. Don’t Look Behind You is an YA psychological thriller.
