Tag| Days of the Week Book Tag

As I was looking through blogs to find a tag to do this week I spotted the Days of the Week Book Tag. This tag was created by Adventures Between Pages. I wasn’t tagged, but it looked like fun, so I decided to tag myself. Keep on reading to find out more about this tag!

Secret Book Sunday
What book or series do you secretly love that you don’t always tell people?

This is an easy one, because I don’t shy away from loving books. I love what I love and no one should be ashamed for reading certain books. Of course there are books that are more popular than others, but as long as you’re enjoying it, who cares what others think? Reading should be fun!

Mash-up Monday
Which two books or series do you think would be cool if they were mashed up as one book or series?

Oh wow. This is actually a really hard question. I always have a hard time thinking of two series I love that would work well together. At the moment, I love how they combined Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows. Yeah, it’s a series adaption, but I say it counts, haha.

Trilogy Tuesday
What is your favorite trilogy?

I don’t think I have one favorite trilogy. Also, I’m really bad at finishing series that I start. To even answer this one I’ve been scrolling through Goodreads, haha. For now I’ll say the Cassidy Blake trilogy. The author has said that she’s open to writing more books with this character, but it’s not 100% sure.

Wacky Wednesday
What book has the wackiest story or wackiest cover?

The cover of Waste of Space isn’t wacky, but the plot is a weird one. When I read the synopsis I have to say I was intrigued, but it was so far-fetched and just the wackiest thing I’ve ever read.

Throwback Thursday
What book or series brings back memories from your past?

The Fearstreet books bring back so many memories. I was at the age where Goosebumps didn’t cut it anymore, but I can say the next step was pretty creepy. My favorite was The Baby-Sitter series by this author. I devoured them! Now I want to see if I can find them again.

Freaky Book Friday
What book freaked you out the most or what book cover freaked you out the most?

I haven’t read Little Creeping Things yet, but look at this creepy cover. Dolls have always been something I think are creepy. The story sounds really good though. I want to read it soon, but also save it for Halloween!

Shelfie Saturday
Post a picture of your favorite bookshelf, a couple bookshelves, or an entire bookcase.

My shelves are such a mess right now, so I don’t plan on sharing a picture, haha. I really need to make time and get them organized. Books are everywhere right now.

So that’s the Days of the Week Book Tag. Feel free to tag yourself if you’re interested! I’d love to read your answers if you do. Also, what is the wackiest book you’ve ever read? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.

  1. I agree with you on the ‘reading should be fun’ point. If you love a book, why keep it a secret! Shout out your love to the world!
I was worried about how the S&B show would merge both the series into one storyline, but the end product is very good. I still haven’t finished the show, but I am planning to soon!

  2. I devoured the “Goosebumps” books as a kid (in fact it’s these books that got me into reading!). They’ll always have a special place in my heart.

I also agree with you, they did a good job with the Shadow and Bone series so I’m hoping it gets picked up for season 2.

  3. This is a great tag, I think I’m going to give it a try. I totally agree that shadow and bone and six of crows seem to go well together
