Down the TBR Hole #67

The last Down the TBR Hole was written a couple of days after I wrote Down the TBR Hole #65. It’s now been a couple of weeks and I’m happy to say that I haven’t added any new books to my want to read shelf on Goodreads. So I’m going to continue to tackle my Goodreads TBR.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | Where The Drowned Girls Go – Seanan McGuire

I have been loving the Wayward Children books by Seanan McGuire for years now and I’m very excited for every upcoming release. So of course I was ecstatic to receive an eARC of the newest release through Netgalley. The last book was a bit of a disappointment so I was a little bit hesitant but decided to read the book right away anyway. And today I want to talk about my thought on Where the Drowned Girls Go. So let’s jump in!

Bookish Item| Netgalley Backlist Part 10

So I posted my Netgalley Backlist Part 9 only two weeks ago, but with it being Netgalley November I figured it would be good to continue with these posts. I might do them less frequently after this, but we’ll see how it goes. Let’s take a look at the next 8 books on my Netgalley Backlist.

Tag | Grisha Adaptation Book Tag

Today I have a pretty small tag for you all. I came across this Grisha tag, and even though it’s basically a mini tag I couldn’t resist. As you hopefully know I love all things Grisha so I just had to go for it haha. I got this tag from the original creator Lauren from Laurensbookshelf. Let’s jump in! Can’t Wait Wednesday | My Imaginary Mary – Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | My Imaginary Mary – Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows”

TTT #211| Books to Read If You Love Romantic Comedies

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books to Read if You Love X. So I decided to make this topic into Books to Read If You Love Romantic Comedies. I’m a big fan of them myself and love when books give me the same vibes as my favorite movies.

5 On My TBR | Family

It’s been a while since I’ve done a 5 On My TBR post, but I wanted to do another one. I keep track of my ARCs and other books, so it’s also fun to keep track of my physical TBR. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s prompt is family. And I have to say it was pretty hard! I love found family books but I tried to not look at those as that feels like a different prompt. Family isn’t always mentioned in the synopsis so some of these are a bit of a gamble haha. Continue reading “5 On My TBR | Family”

Show Sunday | New Fall 2021 Shows I’m Interested In

As you probably know by now, I’m always on the lookout for new tv-shows. Usually I do some research way in advance but this year I was very behind haha. I’m super busy and have a ton of shows to catch up with. But I still have a list of new fall shows I would love to try. So today I want to share 10 of them. I won’t talk about them that much because this post would be way too long if I did.

Review| Under the Whispering Door – TJ Klune

Ever since I read The House in the Cerulean Sea I’ve been anxiously awaiting for Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune to release. Another stunning cover and a story that sounded like it would be emotional, but amazing. I recently finished reading this book and today I want to tell you about the book and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more!
