5 On My TBR | Family

It’s been a while since I’ve done a 5 On My TBR post, but I wanted to do another one. I keep track of my ARCs and other books, so it’s also fun to keep track of my physical TBR. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s prompt is family. And I have to say it was pretty hard! I love found family books but I tried to not look at those as that feels like a different prompt. Family isn’t always mentioned in the synopsis so some of these are a bit of a gamble haha.

Five Dark Fates – Kendare Blake

It’s starting to get so annoying but I still haven’t finished Five Dark Fates. I love this series but I’m so scared to finish this last book. It definitely fits the family prompt because we follow 3 sisters and the families that raised them.

Save the Date – Morgan Matson

I hope to read some Morgan Matson books soon as I have a couple on my TBR. These are more summer reads in my opinion so I don’t think I’ll pick them up in 2021. Anyway, this is about Charlie, the wedding of her oldest sister and a bunch of family stuff. Sounds like a super fun read!

The Devouring Gray – Christine Lynn Herman

This one might be a bit of a stretch but our main character is a descendent of the town’s founders so I’d say that equals family haha. I wanted to read this as soon as it released so I do hope to pick it up soon!

Daughter of the Siren Queen – Tricia Levenseller

I really enjoyed the first book in this duology; Daughter of the Pirate King. Hopefully this second one is just as enjoyable. The titles are the reason I picked this one, this is one interesting family! A pirate king and a siren queen. I can’t wait to see how this ends.

Thief’s Cunning – Sarah Ahiers

I really enjoyed the first book in this duology. This one has been on my TBR for awhile because the plot does sound similar to the first one. However I still want to read it! It’s basically about mob families and that’s always interesting in my opinion.

And these are 5 books on my TBR that have something to do with family. I’m excited to read all of them! Have you read any of these? And would you recommend them? Let me know down below!

  1. I really enjoy books where family plays a central part. I read adult romance as well, and I love it when a series follows different people in one family and their love stories. You really get to know each person and feel like part of the family.
