We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Since my last update I went back to work. Going back to work after three weeks is no joke and I was so tired after the first week, haha. Last week went a little bit better, but my hand is starting to act up again, so I have to keep an eye on that.

Outside it’s getting darker sooner and the temperatures are turning cold, so it’s the perfect time to sit inside and read! Add some kitty cuddles and I couldn’t ask for more!

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added five new ARCs to my Kindle.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished reading Payback’s a Witch, Conventionally Yours, A Study in Charlotte, The Boss Who Stole Christmas, If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread, The One Night Stand Before Christmas, Passport, Murder Most Actual, Must Love Books, and My Contrary Mary.

I’m currently reading It’s Raining Men, The Box in the Woods, I’m Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas, The Holiday Swap, The Christmas Carrolls, and Good Girls Never Rise.

This week I’m hoping to start You’ll Be the Death of Me, The Donut Trap, The Last of August, and Portrait of a Scotsman.

I wasn’t a good book blogger, because I haven’t really been keeping track of bookish news, haha. There hasn’t been anything that has jumped out to me recently. Maybe that will be different next time.

These last two weeks have been pretty busy, so I’ve mostly been working and relaxing. I will be shopping soon though for the holidays. It will mostly be Christmas presents for others, so it’s not something I’ll be showing here.

I’ve been watching a lot of Christmas movies lately, but on Saturday I sat down with the boyfriend and my mom to watch a new Marvel movie. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. It released on Disney+ and was a fun way to spend the evening. I’m looking forward to the sequel.

Yes, I know we’re still in the middle of November, but I’m already full Christmas mode. I’ve been listening to Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas album.
