Review | To Be Taught, If Fortunate – Becky Chambers

As soon as I saw To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers on Netgalley I knew I had to read and review it. It’s only a novella, so it’s a short and fast read. I read it almost immediately but it took me quite a while to write a review. This is not a novella like any I’ve read before so I had to sort out my feelings first. And today it’s finally time to share those feelings and my thoughts about To Be Taught, If Fortunate with you all! Let’s dive in. Down the TBR Hole #22

Seeing how I keep adding new books to my Goodreads TBR, I decided to did this just a little more often than I have before.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #22”

We both received Friend or Fiction through Netgalley months and months ago. Since it’s an October release, we kept pushing it forward and forward. And suddenly we realized this book was released and we still hadn’t read it! We saw the audiobook on Storytel and decided this was the moment to finally read it. And today we want to tell you all about it, so let’s get going! Continue reading “Buddy Review | Friend or Fiction – Abby Cooper”

Bookish Item| Would I Still Feel The Same About These Books?

I don’t reread as often as I’d like, but when I have, so far I’ve still loved the books or loved them even more the second time around. That got me thinking about books I read a few years ago, or even before the blog! Today I want to talk about a few of these books/series, so I can plan a reread in the future, so I can answer the question: Would I still feel the same about these books?

Tag | End of the Year Book Tag

It’s that time of the year again! The End of the Year Book Tag pops up everywhere and this year I want to do it on time haha. While the name might sound like you should do this tag at the actual end of the year, aka somewhere in December, the questions are a lot better to answer if you do it somewhere in October or early November. So here we are! Let’s get started. Continue reading “Tag | End of the Year Book Tag”

Review Blast| Tacker – Sawyer Bennett

Sports romance is something that I really enjoy, especially when it’s with hockey players. I’m not a big hockey fan, but for some reason I enjoy those books the most! The Arizona Vengeance is one of these series and I’ve already read a few of the books (Erik & Dax). The next book in the series, Tacker, is out today and I want to talk about it!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Blog Tour| Grimworld – Avery Moray

I’ve said this before, but I really do want to read more middle grade books. The ones I’ve read before are books I’ve really enjoyed, so I need to make more time for them. So when I saw the sign ups for Grimworld by Avery Moray, I was really excited. Grimworld sounded like the perfect book to read around Halloween! Let’s take a look at what I thought of this book and a little excerpt.

A big thanks to the author and Lola’s Blog Tours for providing me with an ARC to read and review.
