Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Inheritance Games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Review Blast| The Teaching Hours – Sara Ney

Sports romance is definitely a favorite genre of mine. How to Date a Douchebag is a series I haven’t read everything from (The Lying Hours), but have definitely enjoyed what I’ve read. The Teaching Hours is a novella in this series that was previously in the Team Player 2 anthology. Today I want to share my review of this novella.

A big thanks to the author and WIldfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Things I’d Have at My Bookish Party. I’m just not feeling this topic, so I decided to do another post about 5 star predictions. I’ll stick to upcoming releases or newer releases I expect to love! Let’s take a look.

Review| Every Heart a Doorway – Seanan McGuire

I’ve seen the Wayward Children books all over the place in the bookish community and thought the covers were stunning. For some reason, I never got around to picking them up, even though I wanted to. A friend of mine and the creator of the TBR & Beyond group set up a group read for this series. Every Heart a Doorway is the first book and I’m mad at myself for not picking up this book sooner! Isabelle already read and reviewed this, click here for her review.

Show Sunday | Defending Jacob

The book Defending Jacob has been on my wishlist forever and at this point I’m assuming I’m not going to read it anymore haha. However, I was excited to see the tv show was here and I decided to just dive in without reading the book (I know, it’s crazy haha). At the moment I’m writing this, the first 3 episodes are out. Let’s dive in!
