Tricia Levenseller is an author I’ve wanted to read more by since reading Warrior of the Wild. The Shadows Between Us is this author’s newest release and was a TBR & Beyond group read in April. Today I want to tell you what I thought of this book, so keep on reading!
It doesn’t happen often that fantasy books are standalones. These can be hit or miss, because worldbuilding and character development can be tricky in one book. Last year Owlcrate had a shop wide discount for a couple of their previous boxes and I obviously couldn’t contain myself haha. One of the boxes had a sea theme and since I already knew what was in the box I had to get it. The book that was included was Daughter of the Pirate King and for the longest time I planned on reading it….
