Tag | Disney Song Book Tag

I was looking for a new tag to do and decided to take a look at our archive. We have done a lot of tags in the past and about half of them I’ve never done because Candyce did them. And one of those was the Disney Song book Tag. I’m a big Disney fan so this is a must for me! Let’s dive in.

Can’t Wait Wednesday | A Declaration of the Rights of Magicians – H.G. Perry

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | A Declaration of the Rights of Magicians – H.G. Perry”

Review| Date Me, Bryson Keller – Kevin van Whye

As a fan of contemporary books, I knew I needed Date Me, Bryson Keller as soon as I read the synopsis. Before I start my full review, I can tell you that this book was everything I wanted and more. It’s everything I need from a contemporary and left me with a smile on my face. That being said, let’s continue to my full review.

Also, a big thanks to Penguin for providing me with an e-ARC on Netgalley! I’m so glad I got to read this one early!

TTT #133| Books I’ve Started, But Haven’t Finished… Yet

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Reasons Why I Love… We can fill it in on our own. If I’m honest, this topic isn’t working for me. I changed them a lot lately, haha. So today I’m going to go for Books I’ve Started, But Haven’t Finished… Yet. I’m good at starting something and then getting distracted (this happens often when I read multiple books. These are all books I’ve been enjoying, but just need to finish!

Review| Dev1at3 – Jay Kristoff

I read and reviewed Lifel1k3 quite some time ago, but didn’t take the time to read the sequel, Dev1at3. Before I started I did a reread of Lifel1k3 and then dived right into Dev1at3. All I can say before starting my review is saying that I’m very happy I decided to wait. After that ending, I need the third and final book. But first, let’s talk about Dev1at3!

Review| A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder – Holly Jackson

I’ve said it before, but this year I really want to starting reading more books out of my comfort zone. Or really just books outside of the usual fantasy and contemporary books that I normally read. There’s nothing wrong with those, but I’ve noticed I really enjoy other genres as well. So I decided to give A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder a go and I wasn’t disappointed! Keep on reading for my full review.

Review| From Blood and Ash – Jennifer L. Armentrout

Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read almost all of her books (there are still a few I need to get to, but I’m working on it). So when I heard she had a surprise book, I knew I needed to get my hands on it! From Blood and Ash is the start of the Blood and Ash series and her first high fantasy series. I finished this book recently and wanted to tell you all about!
