Tag| Disney Song Book Tag

When I was looking for a book tag to do this week, I was happy when I stumbled upon a Disney Song Book Tag. As a big fan of Disney, I can never get enough. I wasn’t nominated, but saw this tag on Firstbooklove‘s blog and tagged myself.

18243700Part of Your World – What book world would you change yourself for so you could be a part of that world?

The first world that comes to mind is Harry Potter. That is an all time favorite and I think it would be quite the adventure. To try and not be too obvious with my answers, I think I would choose Throne of Glass. I recently read The Assassin’s Blade again and the world sucked me right back in. So many different places and people. Sounds like an interesting world to be a part of.

Let It Go- What book did you not want to finish because you loved it so much?32075662

Our Dark Duet is the most recent book that I didn’t want to finish, because it was so good. This was the second book of the duology and I was so sad it was going to be over. V.E. Schwab created such an amazing world and even though it ended pretty closed, it left me with a lot of questions. I think a lot of fans would be happy if she were to give us a prequel or novella to give us more information. That would make me SO happy!

imageBeauty and the Beast- What book do you think is/will be timeless?

Okay, I am going to give an obvious answer for this one. Harry Potter is timeless to me. The first books are celebrating their 20th anniversary and new generations are still discovering these books. After reading them many times, I still can’t get enough. Hopefully these books will be loved by many generations to come!

So This is Love- What book were you hesitant to read at first but ended up loving?34219873

The Trials of Morrigan Crow was a book I was a bit hesitant about. Not because the story didn’t sound amazing, but this series was being compared to Harry Potter. I was really afraid it was going to be a rip off and not its own unique story. This couldn’t have been further from the truth though. The Trials of Morrigan Crow was a sweet and unique story that left me wanting the second book. I haven’t read many middlegrade books and this was definitely a good one to start with.

16068905Friend Like Me- Which character would you like to be your best friend?

Cath from Fangirl seems like she would be a fun best friend. Yeah, she does have her own issues and has a hard time being social, but she is a major fangirl. That is something I can totally relate to. Being a fangirl has added a lot of great people to my life and without that this blog wouldn’t exsist. Nothing beats being able to rant about the things you love with someone that completely understands.

Reflection- What book really made you think/changed the way you viewed things?35817737

The Exact Opposite of Okay opened my eyes even more so than they were before this book. I already knew that society treated girls defferently when it came to sexuality and how many people you’ve slept with. Reading this book opened my eyes more to what it does to the girl that gets looked down upon. How it can really get to her and make her think she did something wrong. Society makes us think it’s okay for boys to sleep with as many people as they want and they’re praised for it, but when a girl does the same thing, how dare she? The Exact Oppsoite of Okay is an eye opener and everybody needs to read this, because it needs to change.

That’s it for today! Feel free to tag yourself, but make sure to let us know when you post this tag. We love seeing your answers. What character would you want to be best friends with?
