We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Reasons Why I Love… We can fill it in on our own. If I’m honest, this topic isn’t working for me. I changed them a lot lately, haha. So today I’m going to go for Books I’ve Started, But Haven’t Finished… Yet. I’m good at starting something and then getting distracted (this happens often when I read multiple books. These are all books I’ve been enjoying, but just need to finish!
Godsgrave – Jay Kristoff Okay, I’m 52% into this book, haha. I really don’t know why I haven’t continued with Godsgrave. I’ve been enjoying every minute of it. It is a heavier read that I need to concentrate on, so that could be it. I’m determined to finish this trilogy in 2020!
Otherworld – Jason Segel & Kirsten Miller Out of all the books on this list, Otherworld is the worst. I think I only have 75 pages left to be done. Isabelle and I bought this for something we want to do with the blog and kind of forgot about it. I really hope I remember enough to finish the last part instead of starting all over again.
Frost Like Night – Sara Raasch Isabelle and I were actually doing a buddy read of this one with another friend. I got a bit behind and Isabelle finished, haha. Not too long ago I saw it on my nightstand and decided to grab the bookmark. I honestly thought I hadn’t started it yet, but I was actually over 80 pages in. I was enjoying this trilogy, so I want to finish it. Even though I may need to start over, haha.
Kings of the Wyld – Nicholas Eames At the moment, I’m over halfway through this book and enjoying every moment of it. At a certain point I was reading downstairs when my boyfriend was talking on his headset and I noticed I just couldn’t concentrate with that happening. I need to pick it up soon during a quiet moment.
The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t with Her Mind – Jackson Ford My boyfriend gave me this book for my birthday and I actually started reading it that morning. I think I’ve read about 100 pages, but then got distracted by ARCs and buddy reads, This has been an interesting read so far though.
Foul is Fair – Hannah Capin I only got about 10% in with Foul is Fair. It’s not that I wasn’t liking it, but this actually happened to be the formatting of the ARC. Whenever there was a double letter in a word or name (for example apple), they’d be missing. This got annoying really fast, so I need to get a physical copy so I can finish this book.
When Summer Ends – Jessica Pennington Another case of getting distracted by ARCs and buddy reads. I really enjoy Jessica’s books, so I will finish it this summer. I loved Meet Me at Midnight, so I’m happy I still have a bit more to enjoy until her next book.
The Beautiful – Renee Ahdieh I think I read about 25% of The Beautiful and was really enjoying it. I had the e-ARC and I’m going to sound like a broken record, but once again I think I just planned too much at once. I now own the physical book and have the ARC for The Damned, so I need to get reading!
Serpent & Dove – Shelby Mahurin Another book my friends really loved and convinced me to start reading, haha. I know I read the first few chapters and was enjoying myself. I decided to wait to get the physical book, but with it being on a wish list I had to wait. I received this one for Christmas, so it will be picked up again soon.
The Princess and the Fangirl – Ashley Poston This is one I started to listen to on Storytel. I was enjoying the audiobook, but at that moment I was having a hard time concentrating on audiobooks. So I decided to put it aside for a bit, so I wouldn’t ruin my experience or miss anything. I added the physical book to my collection, so I’ll read it that way.
So those are actually the ten books I’ve started, but haven’t finished. I want to finish them all, so I hope to finish them all in the next couple of months. If you’ve read any of these, which one should I pick up again first? Let me know in the comments! Feel free to leave the link to your TTT in the comments as well.
I didn’t know Renee Adieh released another book. I have to check that one out.
The only book on your list that I’ve read is When Summer Ends (and loved it)! I have The Beautiful and Serpent & Dove on my tbr! Great list; I hope that you enjoy these books if you get back to them!

I have a fair amount of series lately that I haven’t finished, so I can relate. The Beautiful looks like a fantastic read, and I’ve heard good things, but I haven’t taken the plunge yet.
I’ve heard good things about Frost Like Night.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

Great list! I started Foul is Fair, too, and I need to get back to it.
I loved Serpent & Dove so much! And Godsgrave and The Beautiful are great as well, but especially Godsgrave is a bit heavy, like you said.

I’ve also got the same problem of following through and finishing series and sometimes books (especially when I they’re ARCs)! The formats really can be a little frustrating though which does deter me. I’ve got a few of these on my list to finish too 😂 Great post!
I haven’t even started any of these, so you’re ahead of me! 😉
I’ve had The Beautiful on my TBR ever since it was announced and it’s just been sitting on my bedside every since it came out 🙃 I am determined to finally read it this summer though!
